Pay extra for the audio tour. Big complex. Plan half a day to see all. Best museum in town and a cultural centre too. No1 place to visit in Ljubljana🦇

As a castle destination this is not particularly exciting, but the view from the tower observation deck is worth the visit, even with the walk up the many steps to reach the top.

Stopped off here on the way from Graz to Venice and wanted to check this place out. Glad we did! A very cool castle experience with remarkable views of a beautiful city!

Great viewpoint, panorama view and elevator ride is great! One thing that I didnt liked is crowded with restaurants that hides great spots.

Great external appearance but steep climb unless you use the railowayfrom the river side. Interiors all rebuilt very few original walls still visible. The castle in the cliff at Predjama near Postojna caves is much better.

Ljubljanski Grad is organized as a good tourist machine. It is not bad for a first visit in Ljubljana or for all curious people who want to visit an exhibition or two. Other visitors can choose one of the paths to get to the top...More

We played the game of Escape the Castle and we had a lot of fun. It was harder than we had expected and it took us a couple of tries to complete the challenge. We really enjoyed our visit.

If you’re expecting a “British Castle”, you’ll be disappointed. There isn’t actually much of the structure to see or history to learn about. The castle has been converted into civic and entertainment spaces, to the detriment of a typical castle experience. It’s all a bit...More
