This is one of the unmistakable landmarks of Ljubljana, situated in Preseren Square. The interior is beautiful. We were there during a mass, and it was filled with worshippers.

It was special to be here for a service and watch everyone come and go saying their prayers and blessings. Our choir sang several songs and fell in love with the ambience of the place. It's easily accessible and right in the centre of town. Free entry.

This pink church can not be missed. It is in the center of the Old City. We were able to go inside and luckily found a mass that had just started around 3 pm. The church dates from the 16th century

We were at the Franciscan Church at about 13:00-14:00 on 8 Nov and it was closed. It opened again from 15:00. There was a sign at each of its doors. We were lucky to attend mass at about 16:00 or so. We are not very good with architecture of churches but what we wanna share is the lighting. We noticed... More

Beautiful church and beautiful architecture of a bygone era, Not sure of the origins or story behind the colour of the church but still a must do when in Ljubljana

The church itself is small and very baroque (I can't help but think that St. Francis would not approve of all of that ostentation. Great landmark and very picturesque on the outside.

Located in the heart of the old town this church adds significantly to the amazing panorama of the square and the triple bridge.

I was prepared for the ornate interior with the paintings and intricately carved altarpieces, but was not expecting the service that was in progress when we entered. There were about 15 in the congregation, and the service was being lead by a woman who was singing then hymns with the aid of a microphone whilst the audience sang along with... More

I wasn't able to go inside the church. The architecture is stunning. In front of the church is where the free walking tour of Ljubljana begins. On the tour you'll hear more about the church and the significance of the statue in front of the church.
