We were a group of four and we hired Ivan at Slovenia Private Tours for the following services:-
Two hour walking tour of Ljubliana.
Full day tour to Lake Bled and Bohinj Lake and Radovljica medieval town.
Full day tour Postojna cave and Predjama castle.
Full day tour Piran followed by visit and wine tasting with snacks at a vineyard in one of the villages.
The service we received from Ivan was excellent. He was very helpful by email when we were planning the itinerary and answered us very quickly. The vehicle was very comfortable and it was immaculate. His knowledge and history of the country was amazing. He was very professional at all times. We can highly recommend his services.

We hired Ivan to collect us from Venice and look after us for eight days. We covered Plitvice Lakes in Croatia and Slovenia. Ivan's van was very comfortable and he is an excellent driver. Ivan worked with us to come up with an itinerary that covered the places that we wanted to see as well as some other excellent spots that we didn't know about but were very pleased to have seen. Ivan is very flexible and adapted the itinerary to the weather and our tastes. He gives very good recommendations for restaurants and assisted us in selecting accommodation. Ivan preempts things that are needed (umbrellas) and gives that insider knowledge of when to book times for the parks. He was happy to drop us off at places, park the van, meet us and then go back and get the van to pick us up thus allowing us more time for where we were visiting.
We had a fantastic holiday with Ivan and highly recommend him as a driver/guide if you are visiting this area.

We had booked 2 tours with Ivan on consecutive days in April.
Tour 1 - Bled and Bohinj Lakes
Tour 2 - Postojna Caves and Predjama Castle
Both tours were extremely comfortable, informative and fun. Ivan is a professional, passionate and extremely knowledgeable guide, who not only knows the entire region well but is well versed with the culture and history of the region as well. He goes out of his way to make sure your group has a good time. Ivans car is comfortable and he is a very good driver as well. All this combined with a great sense of humour.
Will definitely try his other tours on offer on our next visit.

Ivan was with us for two full days. He customized our itinerary to meet our likes. He was very helpful in coming up with ideas for us. Once we met him, he took us to all the places. He was very professional, polite, patient, and super knowledgeable, telling us the history as we drove. We enjoyed every bit of our trip.

Our ship stopped in Koper, Slovenia. We decided to go to Ljubljana, the capital of this beautiful country. Our guide was Ivan, whom I had written off beforehand. We are a group of seven people, mostly over 70 from London. We spent extra two days in Ljubljana after our European countries tour. We visited the Natinal Park, Predjama Castle and Postojna Cave with Ivan. He was excellent in bringing us to scenic spots for photos and rest. We had the most pretty photos at the peaks. He brought us to local restaurants with great foods and resonable prices. He was a geat driver with a comfortable van. We learned much local historic facts and legends from him. We highly recommend his tours. Slovania is among our favourite countries. The night sceneries along the river of Old Town of Ljubljana are peaceful and romatic.

Three glorious days in Slovenia and I can’t wait to go back! And Ivan was the most dependable, knowledgeable, and just great guy we could have had to show us Postojna Cave, Predjama Castle, Ljubljana, Lake Bled, Pericnik Falls, Kranjska Gora and Skofja Loka.
Ivan picked us up right on time in Trieste outside our hotel and drove us to cave and castle on way to Ljubljana. His van is very comfortable and he put us at ease right away with lively conversation about what we were seeing. We loved both these sites and the cave has to be the most beautiful I’ve ever been to. It is not like Disney experience for those worried it is too touristy. The train just helps you see so much more than you could if just walking. We finished the day walking around Ljubljana which is a very picturesque city.
Next day was Lake Bled, which is just a must see. Again, Ivan helped us arrange the day so we could see everything we wanted, plus provided great information about things we wouldn’t have known to ask about otherwise. His knowledge of the area is excellent.
On our last day Ivan recommended we go to Škofja Loka before heading to the airport. Great recommendation. The castle there has a wonderful museum.
Everything worked flawlessly. It was easy to book Ivan’s services and he was absolutely dependable. If you need a driver/guide, I highly recommend Ivan.

My wife and I spent almost 10 days with Ivan, from Ljubljana to Dubrovnik, from cities to lakes, from mountains to sea. Ivan was both our guide and our driver for the trip. We had such an incredible and memorable experience.
In case you wonder, as I once did, that Ivan not being a Slovenian born, and having lived only 3 years in this country, how much does he know about these places and that qualifies as a local tour guide. Put that doubt to rest.
Ivan is highly knowledegable. Be it history, geo-politics, culture, wine, food and people etc., he covers them all.
He is also very passionate, patient and accommodating.
And about the ride. His car was comfortable, and he maintained it spotlessly clean everyday. His driving was smooth, and considering my wife is hypersensitive to motion sickness, she had no problem at all, especially when driving thru the winding mountain roads. He is very punctual, and never a minute late.
We started on day 1 with introduction handshake, and we bid farewell with a hugs at the end of the trip.
We would definitely, with no hesitation, recommend Ivan to anyone interested in Slovenia and Croatia.

Hi,Can you give me an idea of what your rates would be to take a family group of 4 - 6 people to our ancestors' towns in the Crimea - Kerch, Feodosyia, Belogorsk, Simferopol and a few others. We would need transportation, lodging and of course a guide/translator. we are considering traveling around the date of December 11 unless the weather at that time of year is prohibitive.
