Lake Bled and Bohinj - Beyond the Alpine Lakes from Ljubljana

129 reviews
Surround yourself in Slovenia’s natural beauty and old-world culture on a full-day group tour. An area often overlooked by foreign visitors, the tour is ideal for nature-loving travelers who want to discover a different side of the country. After a stop at Lake Bled and Bled Castle, head onwards to Bohinj, the country's largest glacial lake. There you can enjoy views of the Julian Alps and the towering peak of Mount Triglav.

We expected some really eye opening illusion experiments but many of the highlighted optical illusions are well known. Only in the end there is a tunnel which you go through that completely makes you loose your balance - through optical illusion only, that was really fun and crazy! So good option for rainy weather but no must do.

Very nice exhibit, for adults and children at the same time. Learning point. But staff response and interaction was the best thing on our Illusions day.

Spent a couple of hours here before catching our flight back home to London. We had a great experience! It’s a fantastic little museum with some brilliant interactive exhibits. Anyone who loves puzzles, illusions, etc will love this place. Our kids are 8 and 11 and danced and puzzled their way around! They thought it was hilarious that I could not walk in a straight line down the tunnel. Try and go when it’s quiet - it wouldn’t have been the same if it was packed out. We picked our time well (Monday afternoon, kids back at school)
