We circumnavigated most of it in way less than an hour with many stops for photos and gazing through the clear water to spy fish. I knew it looked great in photos I had seen online but the beauty seeing it in person was stunning, especially on a beautiful day with clear blue sky. We enjoyed a walk round the lake and then had lunch at Jasna Alpska restaurant. The burgers were delicious, as were the smoothies. Parking cost us Eur 5 for 2 hours but the stop was well worth it.Visited September 2023Traveled with familyWritten September 11, 2023

We parked our car and walked around for about 10 minutes. It's very scenic, with an imposing backdrop of spiky mountaintops. This place with the little lake is really beautiful: nature and view on the mountains Julijske Alpe.
It is near Kranjska Gora vilage. Nice footpath.
There are place for swimming (water is celan, but cold :-), sunbathe, dring, eat or just a walk arund the lake.
Almost always ih there a lot of people : - ( , specialy between weekend. You can get a little problem with parking.
Recommended.

Beautiful lake, definitely worth visiting. There are several piers to walk on and we saw people swim in the lake. There are a few restaurants near and the village is a 20 min walk. You can easily walk around the lake.

Lake Jasna is well worth a stop. I knew it looked great in photos I had seen online but the beauty seeing it in person was stunning, especially on a beautiful day with clear blue sky. We enjoyed a walk round the lake and then had lunch at Jasna Alpska restaurant. The burgers were delicious, as were the smoothies. Parking cost us Eur 5 for 2 hours but the stop was well worth it.

While in Kranjska Gora we always visit lake Jasna. Whether it is the summer or winter the place is fantastic. The water is crystal clear (too cold to swim in though) and the view of the surrounding area is amazing. While there don't forget to take a picture with the iconic statue of Capricorn!

There are many little gems in Slovenia, like this one. It's a small lake but in an incredible location, surrounded by mountains. There is a bar next to it, but plenty of places around the lake where you can unwind. The water is crystal clear so you can also go for a swim if you don't mind cold water.

Gorgeous lake to visit.
We circumnavigated most of it in way less than an hour with many stops for photos and gazing through the clear water to spy fish.

My wife and I walked around this breath taking lake in the winter. It was a beautiful place that I would recommend to anyone visiting Kranjska Gora. Finish off the trip by having a drink at one of the lakeside cafes.

Nice walk around the lake, many wooden sculptures, everything is also interesting for kids. Great place for taking pictures. There is also plenty of drink and food offer.

Beautiful place, with unbelievable views, very nicely made paths, small piers, changing cabins. Super clean water, cold but refreshing. Nice restaurant at the lower part of the lake.
