Besides courses, private lessons and rental, we also offer coaching of alpine skiing and ski - cross lessons. For our young ones is taken care of in ski kindergarten Kekec where you never run out of imagination and snow balls. We are proud partners of Snow park Kranjska Gora, where everyone can see how fast they are on Giant slalom and ski - cross course. See you at Kekec!

We didn't use the ski school aspect of this business, we just rented our equipment from them. When we went into Kekec's office we were met instantly with big smiles, a sense of humour, and brand new ski equipment (plus excellent English!).
Prices seem much of a muchness between the various hire places, so we weren't too bothered about that, but we were delighted to support a relatively new business and its friendly, professional staff. They are usefully situated right at the bottom of one of the chair lifts/blue run so we could get straight to the top of a run, and ski across the mountain to access the lifts further across the slopes. We hope to return next year, and will be taking our children to them for lessons if we do.

From the moment I first emailed ski school Kekec their communication was excellent and they promptly answered any questions I asked.
I had booked my 3 year old son into their ski kindergarten for 4 days, and despite his usual morning grump and shyness, he was soon flying down the nursery slope and high fiving the instructors. There were about 6 kids in the class with 2 or 3 instructors, some of the other ski kindergarten's in Kranjska Gora appeared to have larger classes of around 10-12 kids.
My wife was booked into private snowboard lessons and she was very happy with them. The instructor helped to get her confidence back after a five year absence from the slopes. We also hired our equipment here and it was good quality.
The main positive of this place is the staff. Every day that we walked into the shop we were greeted warmly by the equipment rental staff and instructors. Even when we bumped into the staff around town they would chat to us. Plus offers of free tea and sweets at the end of each lesson, and one day we went in to hire a sledge which they refused to charge us for! Compare this to the biggest rental shop in town, where I was treated with contempt when I popped
in to rent a sledge a few days before, There's also a cafe onsite and the staff there were friendly too.

I wanted to write a review for the guys at kekec ski school and ski rental as they were brilliant, happy, friendly, professional and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble! The blueberry was better than the walnut! The boots, googles, ski's and helmets were top quality and I would be very happy to recommend the team to anyone! Thank you all, we will be back!

3 trip to Slovenia, and kekec.. they are all incredible! Thanks all!i cannot say enough positive things, professional, enthusiast, happy and friendly..their bar is also fabulous!

Kekec ski school turned out to be a very lay back yet well organised ski school. Especially for small children. All instructors are competent and friendly. Management has a layback attitude but yet run a tight ship. The aded advantage is that you can rent your ski material there and leave them on the premises as you wrap up the day. My young children took classes there for straight 5 days. Not only they enjoyed it immensely but made incredible progress. Definitely recommended

We spent 3 days with Kekec ski teachers and I can only write the best of them. Positive, professional approach to children or adults. I didn't intend to ski at all, now ended up in loving it,especially after seeing my son ski.

Right from the start, we liked this school. Equipment was great. Very helpful staff. But the instructors - now, that's what you want in a ski school - and our two - Jurij for the kids and Alan for me (Dad) were just perfect. We all had so much fun. And honestly - one of my trio who was nervous about skiing from our previous not-so-great experience, has now come away (after five days), a strong and confident skiier. She "loves skiing". Thank you Kekec. We will be back!

Quality Rossignol equipment to rent at very reasonable prices. Quality instructors who know their stuff and very friendly.
Jurij and his team are great guys and I think have a nice business - still handing out the Schnapps. Be sure to check out the Bar Kekec as well as they serve great food and drink and it is where the instructors hang out.

My son has just had a week's skiing with Kekec. He loved his lessons and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. All the equipment we needed was great quality. Can't fault them.
