Great museum for those, who love toys (especially old ones), colours, Rock music and history of Celje. There are some interactive exhibitions and also craftmens places with the tools, products ... A tour guide would be nice, but wasn't available at the time if visit.

Always interesting expositions, young, friendly and helpful staff. Also parking available just in front. In the shop there are nice Celje memorabilias.

Whilst we felt that Celje itself didn't quite live up to expectations, this museum was brilliant. The exhibitions were superb, the explanations of recent history (including the horrors of WW2, the Yugoslavian period, independence and proud membership of the EU) are user-friendly (and thankfully in English!), and anyone with half an interest in history could happily spend a whole half day here.

Even though the name of the Museum doesn't sound promising, on the contrary, it's a really interesting place with unusual exhibitions. The museum itself is designed to be both for children and adults, with an ingenious intention of the curators to attract them all to all the exhibitions. You may see some really amazing restaurations of shops from Celje and some examples of everyday life in the early 20th century life in this city. There are also audio-visual presentations of Celje's past days which are quite interesting. The part which is dedicated to children is also amusing. All in all, don't miss to visit this very interesting museum.

We had exactly one hour and this museum needs a little more than that. There were some English subtitles and that was adequate for us to fill in the gaps of what we didn't understand. Don't forget to get upstairs to see the little shops from early 20th century.

Museum is a nice surprise. It is accomodated for young generation in one part of their collection. Second part is reserved for recent history: nice and other events from 20. century. Third part is interesting: they saved some original little shops and workshops (hairdresser, tailor, modiste). We all wish to keep these workshops down, on the streets of Celje. Museum is not too big and has very comfortable position in the middle of Celje.
