First and foremost, I would like to say that whoever loves ziplining this is an amazing place to go as the views are incredible, however, unfortunately, being as it was my first time, I had no prior knowledge of what to expect and thus was a total beginner.
The very first zipline you begin practicing on I feel is very good and even the guides with our group were very friendly and informative and instantly made me feel comfortable doing it. This comfort however slowly changed after the very first “real” ziplining activity.
This is a 200m one which at first glance seems but just a number and is totally hidden in the trees but once you are half way down, you realise you are literally in the middle of huge openness something not really warned about prior. And so, courage as I must, I felt I couldnt carry on, and this is where things began to seem ugly.
In total there were 2 instructors with our group, of which one goes first to let everyone know when to brake and help them get off the zipline, while the other one stays behind to push them and also go with a little one across the gorge. He immediately saw I was terrified of going and was trying to encourage me to carry on, even offering to take me across. This guide was amazing.
However, the other 2 with the group afterwards were absolute rubbish! Once they saw that I was having a hard time they proceded to ridicule and demean me infront of everyone, even telling me that I was an inconvenience and waste of time! This is NOT professional handling of customers and is NOT the way customers should be treated when trying to do something!
But ofcourse this was not all. After I finally managed to go on the other side and continued doing all the ziplines, it was time to look at the photos of which were taken at the last zipline. But alas, their own photographer decided it was a good idea to take a photo of me crossing the gorge in tears and terror! And took not just 1 or 2 like the others, but 6! These were shown infront of the whole shop!
How VERY unprofessional and unempathethic! This is NOT okay to treat your customers and people in general like this! What if someone had an actual panic attack on the same spot as me?! You would have no knowledge whatsover about how to go about the situation! This is pure egoism and ignorance and action must be taken!
