Honestly, this guys are ONE OF A KIND! The booking process was smooth, quick. Since email one, we just knew they actually know what the client needs, looks for and even fears of. Soca Valley is ONE of the best outdoor destinations we've ever visited and most definitely, this credit goes to Dejan and Anka. We did a 4 days multi activity package with DK Sport. We booked 3 days of kayak school combined with 2 days of biking. The overall price was cheap for what's included and for how they treat you. Even if I was afraid of water, rapids (and flipping), Dejan made sure that we descended down the river when I was ready and confident enough to enjoy it. I didn't feel any pressure and his patience level is extremely high. The bike tour was off the beaten path and we extended it on site. Absolutely awesome nature and bike trails. He even gave us some MTB school in between. Look no further - this company rocks at all levels!

In August 2019 we took a 3 day white water kayaking course with Dejan and Anka. We registered and paid a deposit online. When we got there they immediately came to meet us. The course was an amazing and wild adventure (we had never done white water kayaking before). Dejan is very experienced and we felt very safe under his supervision. Our kids were 11 and 15 at the time. The trip was very well prepared and supported by Anka. Dejan knows a lot about the area as he was raised there. He also cares deeply about the environment and tries to keep the Soca river from being spoilt (he literally takes bottles of rubbish out of the water on a daily basis). Anka and Dejan are a great and reliable team. You knew that they would go above and beyond to meet their customers’ need. I really feel ecotourism is all about supporting small enterprises like theirs that offer that personalised service. They also recommened fantastic accomodation in the village. On the last day Anka took loads of great photos of all of us. Lovely souvenir. They are one of a kind. Wish there were more like them..

Dejan was an amazing ski instructor for both myself and my daughter. He was patient and kind. Most importantly after 1, 2 hour lesson I was able to hit the slopes and by the end of the week I was confidently completing blue runs. Thank you Dejan for your instruction and great local tips! We hope to see you again one day

Totally recommend dk sport for kayaking! My boyfriend and I took a spontaneous two days beginner course. Dejan, our instructor, thought us all basics in flat water so we felt very confortable going inside the floating river.
On our second day we could go down nice and fun rapid. Unfortunately we did not have enough time continue the course this time. But hopefully we can make it back one day and taking some more rapids down soca river.
We felt every second very safe with Dejan, also the one time I turned my kayak :D Dejan knows what he is talking about and knows the river very well. Even more skilled kayakers will get what they are looking for with dk sport.
The yurti-bar is definitely also a great spot to grab a drink after the kayaking and do some video analysis :)

Thanks to Anka, Dejan and Dejans dad for the adventurous and safe experience! We did a 4-day kayak school (beginners), learnt a lot of the sport and about the behavior of the current! Dejan is an excellent teacher and strives to create an understanding of the current. All are locals from Bovec and told us a lot of the region (history, culture..) as well as very nice recommendations for hike-trips and lunch.
The customer service before, during and after the course by Anka was also very well. We already recommended your family business to our friends and family. Hope to see you soon at the Yurty Bar :))

All campings were fully booked and I could not find a place to sleep. Anka did organize a camping place for me and was very helpful from the beginning to the end. Dejan guided a very panoramic and technically interesting mountain bike tour and showed us a typical bar. It was a very pleasant stay for me and I can highly recommend Anka and Dejan as tour guides! We had an amazing time with Dejan and Anka! Friends and me wanted to try kayaking in Slovenia and luck brought us to Dejan. He is an amazing guy and kayak instructor! Spending time with him on the river means you can count with fun, adventure, lot of learnings and all the time saftey! Courses have been super individual, all of us felt good and we really got experience about kayaking as whole package! No comparison to other companies, which often tend to superficial entertainement. This is real kayak time - made for you! Thanks you guys!

As a solo paddler, I was very fortunate to find Dejan and Anka to take me on a 1/2 day trip down the Soca River in Slovenia. This is a spectacular area of the country and an amazing river. They are extremely professional, skilled, and knowledgeable, as well as being a lot of fun! A group of any size and ability would have a lot to learn and be "in good hands" on a trip with DK Sport.

As it was our first time in the Soca-Valley, my son and me asked Dejan to guide us on his home-river for three days. Although water-level was very low in all river sections, we really enjoyed kayaking with an excellent Guide/Coach, and were able to improve our technical skills in modern whitewater-kayaking. Don‘t forget to drink a cold beer after workout at Yurti-Bar!
Anka even managed to shuttle us on a busy day, when we decided to run a river section on our own.
