I visited Vogel ski centre with my 2 young girls, of which none of us had skied before. I had some questions I asked via email before going and Jana would always come back to me so quickly with answers to my questions and more.
We booked some lessons and the instructors were amazing, so attentive, friendly, patient but were particularly brilliant with my girls and were able to build their confidence beautifully! it wasn’t long before we were able to enjoy the slopes alone.
I also can’t thank the rental shop enough! they were so busy but the help I received from the man there was honestly amazing! he guided me so well having not been there or skied before and went above and beyond! Sadly I didn’t get his name.
We all had the best time in such a beautiful country and hope to visit again! Thanks for everything!

Wonderful staff - very professional, kind and friendly. The interactions were highly positive from the get-go. The ski instructor Jana was absolutely brilliant with our boys. Thank you for making our holidays so pleasant and successful.

The shop is one of the friendliest ski hire places I’ve been to from across Europe. Good quality equipment and nice people . “Blash” the instructor was excellent.

Just arrived home from a truly magical family holiday at Vogel ski centre. We were blessed with incredible snow and brilliant blue skies and sunshine for the week. But the memories were made by the team at Ski Finzgar. Thank you to Lucija for going above-and-beyond the call of duty – you are a rock star. Thank you to our instructors Domen and Nina for converting three complete beginners, aged 6 to 48 years, to three ski enthusiasts in just six days – with patience and commitment in every minute of our daily lessons. Thank you lastly to Urôs for celebrating the pure joy of skiing and teaching an old dog some new skiing tricks. If you visit Vogel, don't look anywhere except Ski Finzgar for your ski-hire and ski tuition. If I could give them 6 out of 5, I would!!

Having never been skiing before I had no idea how to go about booking lessons or hiring equipment for my 2 daughters. I needn't have worried, Lucija was very helpful when I emailed prior to our visit in January and advised a private lesson. When we arrived the staff were so helpful and friendly and the girls thoroughly enjoyed their lesson with Jaka. Thank you

A friendly welcome, excellent tuition which in most cases is 1:1 or 1:2, great equipment. Even a lift back to the hotel (although i think thats beyond the normal service!) Thank you for a lovely holiday

We have just returned from a 7 day trip to Vogel, Slovenia. What a brilliant trip! We had a mixed group of ages and experience, from complete beginners to experienced skiers, age 4-50. I have never skied before and found Vogel to be a wonderful place for a first skiing trip. Everyone at the resort was so friendly and helpful, the snow was perfect and the surroundings stunning. I would especially like to mention the ski school and rental company ski Finzgar. They are located at the top of the gondola. We provisionally booked numerous skiing lessons during our stay and when we arrived made a number of changes to our lessons. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. They were so accommodating and unflappable despite being on the go from morning to night. They were efficient and extremely helpful accommodating every request we had including my (teenage) son deciding to try snow boarding half way through the week and then returning to skiing! The instructors were also brilliant, their English was fantastic and they always remained calm and encouraging. I would HIGHLY recommend this resort and this ski school, particularly for family groups of mixed ability.

Fantastic service and lessons from super friendly staff who speak great English. Really good value equipment hire. We have returned two years in a row.

Helpful and friendly staff - great to be able to get the same skis each day, even though we hired on a daily basis. Very handy having use of a locker to store skis.

Just had a week in Bohinj over Xmas. Unfortunately snow wasn’t great but there was a couple of runs open in Vogel ski area. Just wanted to add a review about the ski Finzgar staff. They were so helpful and the ski instructor my 7 year old daughter had was excellent. She made the 2 hour lesson so much fun and my daughter progressed so much that she joined us on the bigger slope. Can’t praise Ski Finzgar enough. They were very helpful and very friendly.

The Ski Finzgar company advertises that they rent ski pants and jackets. Does this literally mean that you can rent ski suits from them and just need warm underclothing or is there more to it?

No that is it. As simple as it gets. You come to our office and you can rent ski equitment as well as clothes plus gloves and goggles.
