Last October I attended the photo workshop tour called "The little Bohinj", which was presented in a nice and cosy countryside style by Andy and Aleš of The Light in Bohinj. I attended as a 100% amateur in photography, since this was my first shooting with DSLR camera ever. I was always intrigued by good photography and was bound to try for some time now. I can say, I have spent a really nice day learning some "tricks", I thought I will never find time and motivation to even begin with. If you want to grow as a photographer, I can only recommend that you follow The Light in Bohinj. If you're lucky like I was, you could even be taught about the G-Spot! ;) Facebook gallery of the photo tour as I saw it through the lens: http://tinyurl.com/la5u4xg

By combining their excellence as photographers with their intimate local knowledge of the Triglav National Park, Andy Aungthwin and Aleš Zdešar take you on a visual journey to stunningly beautiful locations where they share their expertise to assist you in capturing images which will do justice to scenes of such beauty. Whether you take your photographs with a point-and-shoot camera or the latest high end DSLR, you will learn photographic skills to ensure that you capture the essence of the location whilst, at the same time, being introduced to locations not offered to the go-it-alone tourist. The photo tours offer a rich palette for both the enthusiast interested in landscape, portraiture and macro and the tourist who wants to see the most beautiful scenery in the world. I highly recommend these tours and an extended stay in the area surrounding Lake Bohinj.
