Very nice experience but so many tourists, so be ready to that. Beautiful place. There is a big parking area. Not expensive, adult ticket is 5 euros.

The sunlight filters greenish through the leaves above the gorge, and the Radovna river tumbles down a series of waterfalls beneath you. There's a wooden walkway along one side (which gets REALLY CROWDED at peak times!) which allows you to really get a wonderful view....More

Wonderful experience of nature. See gushing river going through gorge. We walked on raised wooden passage on the side of the gorge. Sometimes the passage crossed from one side to the other. Wear good shoes. We went early in the morning around 8.00 am before...More

Very cool and easy walk for few hours. This walk was very refreshing although the temperature that day was high (35 C). We arrived early and avoided the very long line we saw when we left. The children liked the walk and the water very...More

This is a beautiful walk, over amazing river and pools. Could really not recommend enough if you are in Bled. BUT - get there as early as you can. We arrived for 9am and whilst it was quiet walking out it was busy coming back....More

As others have said get tthere early, when we left at midday the queues were massive - I wouldn't arrive later than 10am and preferably before. Walking to the gorge from the car park we passed many people with full hiking gear but that was...More

Probably the most popular local attraction. Get there early before the coaches arrive as walkways are narrow in places and foot traffic is two way..Travel by Taxi unless you want to be stranded for hours.

We actually walked up from Bled which was fairly enjoyable - you can really appreciate how stunning the surrounding area is. Gorge itself was very nice but perhaps a little pricy - but go for the student discount if you can! The boardwalk can be...More

This is a walkway along a gorge with either a 1 euro return shuttle bus or a return walk along the same route. It is very interesting to see (even in an absolute down pour!!). Takes about 1.5 hours. Lots to see along the route.

The Vintgar Gorge is a truly beautiful place to spend an hour or two. The winding wooden path leads you right through the gorge when there are stunning sights at every turn. The waterfall at the end is breathtaking, although not so much if you...More
