We visited on a snowy winter day when the gorge walk was closed, and intended to do as others here have described and climb over the gates at the beginning and end of the walk. This isn't possible for anyone who's not spiderman! Two new gates have been added to the beginning and end of the walk that are spiked... More

This gorge is a great hike set a little back from Lake Bled itself. You'll need a car or a lift to get to the starting point, even then we hiked into it. There's a restaurant at the car park at one end of the walk which provided the perfect spot to stop for a beer! We went when it... More

Don’t miss this walk if you’re in Bled. The walk is very easy and all on the level’ no climbing. We’ve been there in late July so the place was crowded, but still very pleasant.

Unfortunately t was closed (and it will be for some time) because the storm crashed the forest around the path and some parts of the path are damaged. Nevertheless, the first part we could see was amazing... It is worth the time just seeing first hundred meters of the path which are open (even if it says closed ;)

It's not every day that you can walk over a stunning river on a boardwalk. It is absolutely beautiful and an experience you will get in very few places. Great for photographs and for a walk in the sun.

This was such a unique experience. The wooden walkways are fantastic and very well kept up. Go earlier in the day - there were a lot more people when we left than when we arrived. Highly recommend if you're visiting Slovenia.

This Gorge is stunning! Bridges and pathways leading you deeper into paradise. Autumn colours were beautiful, gushing water crashing past one minute then so calm and still around the next corner. You can spend a good hour walking through here, if you like to stop for photos, there's also toilets and a quirky little cafe at the end for that... More

Highly recommended this beautiful boardwalk along this amazing gorge! One of my favourite things we did on a short trip to Slovenia. Thanks to other reviews we knew we would have to navigate a few small obstacles (including greased up, spiked gates) as we were visiting during winter, but it was definitely worth it! Crystal clear, blue water and a... More

Ok so this was an absolute dream with incredible views and just breathtaking scenery. Could not recommend it more highly. There is however a small complication which I will explain now. I had this entire river to myself and with good reason - the entrance is closed. If you follow the signs through the villages to the main gorge entrance... More
