Hi, usually in October temperatures get slightly colder as it goes deeper into the autumn but really depends from year to year. We plan to operate our rafting trips till the middle of October and then we'll decide according to the weather conditions. We provide warm wetsuits, anoraks and neoprene shoes. Hi Dana, thank you for your interest in our outdoor adventures! We don't have any activities suitable for 2,5 years old kids unfortunately. Kids from 6 years and older can join our Rafting trip on Bled local river Sava, Kayaking trip on Sava Bohinjka or a full day Emerald River Adventure. For all other activities kids need to be 12 years and older. You can find links to all details and information including minimum age for each of our adventure at the bottom of our 3glav website. Dear Zeev Valenstein, thank you for the interest in our services and activities! For the rafting there are 2 options: 1st. Rafting SAVA is our local rafting and a nice river trip, but not a proper white water rafting (it's graded white water class 2 on a scale from 1 to 5). We usually recommend this rafting option to families with smaller kids from 5 years and older. 2nd. Rafting SOCA is the best white-water rafting in Slovenia. It's graded 3+ out of 5 and it's the most scenic and fun rafting you can do in Slovenia, but nothing extreme or dangerous, so children of 8 years and older who can swim, feel comfortable in and around water can join this rafting option. But it's our only activity that doesn't start from our office in Bled. So you can combine it with our full day Emerald River Adventure, or you have to drive to the starting point by yourself, which takes around 1,5 hours one way - so it takes the whole day in both cases. There is no decent public transport alternatives between Bled and Bovec, but it is worth the extra efforts to do rafting on a Soca river as it is a really special river with a crystal clear water. I highly recommend our Emerald River Adventure. It's a really great day out, where you see all the most beautiful places around Triglav National Park and Julian Alps and have good fun all through the day. We provide a full rafting equipment including wet suit, life-jacket, helmet, paddle and a neoprene shoes/booties. All you need are swimming suits and towels. If you are not sure which activity would be most suitable for your children you are more than welcome to our 3glav Adventures office (9am-12pm & 4pm-7pm) located in the center of Bled (right opposite Post office) on your arrival day and we'll help you advise and find the best option for you according to availability. :) You can find more details and all other info of each of our adventure and activity in the footer/bottom of our website. Dear Jamie, it's only possible to do commercial WW rafting trips on class II and class III rivers in Slovenia - so your kids will be fine and should just enjoy amazing crystal clear and emerald rivers around our area of Triglav National Park and Julian Alps. As we're specialized in smaller groups pricing is same for kids, but we usually offer some discount for families with 2 or more kids. Please visit our website for further info and details.
