Our goal is to give a unique culinary experience to our guests. Traditional Slovenian cuisine will be the highlight of your trip, so why wouldn’t you take a piece of it back home? Our cooking class Bled will teach you how to prepare a three-course traditional meal, so you can enjoy the flavors of Slovenia even after you return home.

It was a great experience. We did the class with 4 persons (2 couples). Starting with a plate of meat and cheese and fresh bread. Then moving into the kitchen and learn how to make traditional Slovenian dish. Petra explained perfect what to do and how. We had a lot of fun. The menu is very good, tasty stuff never eaten before. Overall we can just recommend to do this cooking class if you like to learn and have a good evening with two great people (Petra&Niko).

Great cooking class
We had a great family event! Petra and Nico are great and entertaining hosts and we had a lot of fun cooking together and then sharing the delicacies together! It was really a lot of fun and we can highly recommend the cooking classes with Petra and Nico. The newly furnished kitchen offers the best conditions for a great cooking course! We were so excited about the great Slovenian cuisine that we tried another recipe from Petra two days after our return and it all worked perfectly ;-)

Wonderful cooking experience for families
We booked this experience last minute and we were so happy Petra and Niko were able to accommodate. Both were wonderful hosts, allowing our kids (7 & 9) plenty of hands-on cooking opportunities. We enjoyed being invited into their wonderful home and getting to know both of them. I highly recommend this to others.

AMAZING Cooking Class in Bled
We had an amazing time at this three course cooking class. We were able to learn how to cook traditional Slovenian dishes as well as learn more about the language, culture, tourism, etc! Highly recommend for everyone! Thank you to Petra and Niko for being generous hosts!

Highly recommend this experience!
We had the best time at this class! Petra and Saśa were so warm and welcoming. They have a beautiful kitchen perfectly set up to learn how to make traditional Slovenian recipes. We loved how hands on the class was and enjoyed the delicious dinner in their garden looking out at the mountain. Would highly recommend this experience. It was a picture perfect way to kick off our time in Slovenia.

Amazing Bled Cooking Class
The bled cooking class with Petra and Nico was absolutely incredible! Not only was the food they taught us to prepare amazing, but also they were the best company, so kind, welcoming and interesting, and we also learned a lot about Slovenian history and culture! You absolutely need to do this class if you are visiting Lake Bled, it is one of a kind.

Amazing, need to go if you're visiting Bled!

Petras cooking class was simply amazing. It was a lot of fun to learn how to prepare delicious traditional Slovenian food.
Petra really knows her stuff and she is extremely friendly and nice, she is such a lovely lady. The whole presentation,cooking tools and the vibe was so cozy and friendly and the food that we cooked and ate was so delicious.

I highly recommend this cooking class, if you want to learn how to cook traditional Slovenian food, try some delicious local foods and have a glass of wine with the most friendly locals. Me and my friends had a great time :)

Must-Do in Bled!!

If you're in Bled for 1 day or 1 month, Bled Cooking Class with Petra & Niko is absolutely a must do activity.
Totally immersive, informative and delicious.

Best cooking class I've ever done, can't wait to get home and make these beautiful dishes for the family!

Bled cooking class was an absolutely amazing experience and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone visiting Bled! It was so nice to learn about delish Slovenian food, which I can’t wait to make now that I’m home. My family and I felt incredibly welcome at Nico and Petra’s home. A true display of Slovenian hospitality. SUCH GREAT FOOD!

Highlight of our Trip

After spending 2 days with Niko hiking and adventure touring, it was a real treat to sign up for a cooking class with his wife, Petra. They were both incredibly kind and made us feel most welcome. We were greeted with a glass of schnapps and homemade bread with the most delicious charcuterie board, filled with local cheese, salami, and homemade pumpkin spread. My husband and I, and our three daughters, loved learning how to cook barley soup, buckwheat dumplings, and especially the most delicious struklji with cottage cheese, we will definitely attempt to make it when we return home to the US! It was one of the highlights of our trip and brought back many wonderful memories of our grandmother’s cooking!

Great cooking class

We had a great family event! Petra and Nico are great and entertaining hosts and we had a lot of fun cooking together and then sharing the delicacies together! It was really a lot of fun and we can highly recommend the cooking classes with Petra and Nico. The newly furnished kitchen offers the best conditions for a great cooking course! We were so excited about the great Slovenian cuisine that we tried another recipe from Petra two days after our return and it all worked perfectly ;-)

Such a special family activity!

This was one of the best cooking classes I ever took. The vibe and ambience of Petra and Niko's home was so warm and inviting. The appetizers were so delicious and amazing and it was such a fun special family activity. I highly recommend to anyone in the Lake Bled area!

Fun Slovenian Cooking class

We had a delightful time with Petra and Niko at their home and learned to make traditional Slovenian food! They started us with a cheese and meat appetizer and wine while we chatted and learned the schedule for the evening. Then we chopped and prepped for the sausage and barley stew., made cheese-filled buckwheat pockets and traditional Slovenian dessert, Sturklji pastry with cheese filling and a sweet drizzle topping. Petra and Niko are easy to be with and delightful, warm hosts. It was our last night in Bled, and it was the perfect way to end our trip! We toured the area for 2 days with Niko, so call him if you need a tour guide!

Most unique and fun activity in Bled!

Amazing experience and perfectly planned! I try to find a cooking class when traveling around the world, and can tell you my experience with Niko and Petra was one of my very favorite!

We were welcomed with a liquor and a story, then wine and appetizers. I was enjoying getting to know our hosts and almost forgot we were there to cook. Once we put on the aprons, it was go time. Petra led the class while Niko inserted stories and fun…..they are the perfect team!

The food was phenomenal, specifically the strukli…similar process to strudel and as versatile in variations as pasta.
We had such a fun night, we returned a couple days later with more of our family to make the famous Bled cream cake.

My sincere thanks to Petra and Niko for the unique memories made in Bled!! I cant wait to return, and in the meantime, i will send you pictures of my attempts to recreate the wonderful food you taught us!

A Real Treat!

We stayed in the area for almost a week, and Bled Cooking Class with Petra and Niko was definitely a highlight. They were so kind and hospitable. Niko shared the history of the area and the dishes we prepared. Petra's cooking instructions were easy to follow and the food was delicious! I can't wait to make these dishes at home. I highly recommend the class.
