I had an excellent experience summiting Triglav with guide Matevz. We started earlier than expected in order to be up and down before the thunderstorms, meaning we were treated to superb views over the stunning mountains as the sun came up. The team in the office communicated this change well, and I'm grateful we could adapt the trip to allow it to go ahead, even if it meant getting up and out before 04:00.
Matevz was a perfect guide: friendly, experienced, well-informed, takes great photos and speaks great English. Doing a private trip was fantastic, allowing me to travel at a good pace (we made it up and down before noon even spending loads of time enjoying the views from the summit).
Every part of my experience was seamless and I would not hesitate to book with Matevz and Altitude Activities in the future. Highly recommend.

Hired mountain bikes for the day.
Pre arrival Matevz was very helpful, providing assistance with suggested routes etc. Response to emails was always timely and relevant.
Great quality bikes and post ride service was great too with additional suggestions on activities available in inclement weather. All round a very professional outfit.

Our canyoning experience was great! It was our first time, but we are overall sporty so choosing the "Extreme" Option was a really good choice. Nature and the waterfalls are beautiful, with the highest of 55m that you actually descent on a rope! Jerry - our guide and owner is the best guy ever, experienced climber and great entertainer. Really recommend!

We did a guided hike from the last hut to the top of mount Triglav. The guide was very good; friendly, knowledgeable, well equipped, and on top of that he made amazing pictures which he shared with us. We did the hike during sunrise, and this gave great views with beautiful changing light (even better than during the day).
As we were only with two people (guide excluded), and the minimum was 3 people, we were given the option to pay for the third person in order to make the trip possible. This made it a bit expensive, but this was the only downside of this experience.

We came to Altitudes Activities to rent ferrata gear and a helmet to go up triglav. They took a lot of time to teach us how the gear works and gave us tips on how to go up on triglav the best/safest way.
We would recommend Altitude activities to anyone who's travelling to slovenia, because these men will help you out for sure!

Amazing experience which was emphasised by a great approach of our guide Matevz. Matevz went above and beyond to make our day in beautiful Slovenian nature one that we will never forget. Even though the weather was against us and we couldn't finish the initially booked route, Matevz immediately came up with alternative solution, pushed us to our limits and made us feel great conquering the most difficult ferrata in the region. Moreover, Matevz was a great company to be around and the whole experience felt like spending a day outside with a friend.
Highly recommended, money very well spent 👌

Our family did two guided trips with Altitude Activities (Canyoning and a Via Ferrata) in the Bovec area of the Julian Alps, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The lead guides, Jerry and Mato who also own the company, were fantastic - very professional, friendly, fun and did a great job of leading us on these two epic adventures. The same can be said for the assistant guides who were also top notch and made us feel safe and confident the entire time. Finding the right guide is critical, given that you trusting these guides with your life, and sometimes it's hard to ascertain the guides' experience/competence and the quality of the equipment, they provide. I would 100% recommend Altitude Activities for all of your guiding needs! In terms of the trips, they were both an unforgettable experience. The canyoning trip was in Triglav National Park and it was incredible as we jumped, rappelled, slid, swam, and hiked our way down a deep canyon carved out by a pristine and clear mountain river set deep in the mountainside. The via ferrata up the Italian route on Mangart Mountain the next day was just as memorable as we hiked and climbed along the Italian/Slovenian border to the 4th highest mountain in Slovenia. Thank you, Jerry, Mato and the entire team for sharing these beautiful mountains with us and for the trip of a lifetime! We can't wait to be back in Slovenia!

Don't bother looking for another team for an exciting experience in Slovenia.
The team are great, very helpful and friendly.We had a bunch of questions even before booking and the quick, accurate, friendly responses really made us feel this was the right agency to work with.
We climbed Mt. Triglav with our guide Matt on an early August morning and we were happy with the whole experience and his professionalism.

We stayed in Bovec, and Altitude activities could pick us up from the hotel after our breakfast which was very convenient. Jerry was our guide and his instructions were always very clear and we felt save all the way. We did the extreme canyoning, which wasn’t easy, but as we were all fit it was exactly right. Walking, wading, gliding, abseilen, jumping, ziplining. The water is really cold, but it all gives the right level of adrenaline. Real good adventure.

Klara from AltitudeActivities took my friend and I to the Hladnik Via Ferrata. We had a blast. We were able to do it all in the early morning before the crowd and the summer heat.
She was very friendly and helpful with getting us ready. We have not done anything like this in Europe yet. She also took tons of wonderful photos for us.
The climb was comfortable and had spectacular views.
I recommend Via Ferratas with Klara and AltitudeActivities for anyone who have 2-3 hours for something truly memorable.

thank you for your interest. There should be a link to our website in the upper site of the ttripadvisor page. Unfortunately we are not allowed to post any links in the comment section, due to tripadvisors policy.
If you cant find the link, you can book canyoning through our website if you search on google: altitude activities - you will find also contact number and email there. Or you can just type here when would you like to go and we can arrange activity for you.
For final confirmation we would need heights and shoe numbers, so that we can prepare equpiment for canyoning.

How far is your horseback riding stable from Hotel Toplice? It's difficult to determine on your website map the distance from Bled. It looks like your office is only a short walk from the hotel. Do you provide transportation to the stable? I'm asking so I know how much travel time to allow roundtrip plus riding time for a 2 or 2 1/2 hour trail ride. I won't know until August if I will be riding by myself or if other members of the tour will want to ride. Thanks,

Hi! You are correct, our office is only few minutes walk away from Hotel Toplice. Of course, all the transport is included in the price. We can pick you up in front our agency of at your accommodation, whatever suits you most. The driving time from Bled to the starting point for the horse riding trip is somewhere between 5 to 15 minutes, depending on which trip you take. When you will know the exact number of participants, just let us know and we will make a reservation for you.
