We trekked through the National Park to the base of Slovenia's highest mountain, Mount Triglav, which is 9,396 feet high. En route we visited Slap Pericnik waterfall. It is actually two waterfalls. The upper torrent flows from a height of 16 metres and the lower waterfall crashes down the valley from 52 metres. This is probably the most famous waterfall... More

Today we climbed up Mt.Triglav to Slap Mostnice there and back was around 12km. For me that was an incredible feat because I am not an active hiker. Careful after it's rained it can be quite slippery and there are some very steep difficult parts. overall beautiful scenery and fresh air. made it to the top to a beautiful waterfall... More

We wanted to climb Mt. Triglav but the weather wasn't cooperating. After speaking with someone in a sporting goods shop in Bled about the "best route", we drove up the the KRMA valley and stayed at Kovinarska Koca. It rained the entire time so we decided not to try for the peak from there. The next day we drove around... More

This place throws you into a labyrinth of twists and turns crossing rivers, forests, ravines and such. You feel the rawness of this place, and the freshness of how untouched it is. The rivers are some of the cleanest I have ever seen and the views of Mount Triglav rising above the tree line is anything but majestic. You really... More

We accidentally happened upon this hike after missing our turnoff to Bled from Ljubliana. We ended up in a small town called Mojstrana, driving down beautiful narrow winding streets in this mountain town when we saw a sign for hiking. On a whim, we got out and hiked. We hiked along the most pristine teal blue river we'd ever seen,... More

We took the cable car up Mount Vogel and the views from there are splendid. We could see the Lake Bohinj in its entirety and the Julian Alps. We also visited hiked up to the Slap Savica and it was quite a hike!

There are so much things to do there you do not even know where to start. I like Vršič and Soča river the best. Rafting and kayaking are nice in summer while winter walks in Kranjska fora or Bovec are nice, too. Walking arround mounitains and cycling to Mangart seddle you must try it.

The park is beautiful and there a lot of options of hike in different levels! The view os the lake is amazing and people were very nice! You can do the walks by yourself, but the park is huge so is better to have a car!

Triglav and its nature is so beautiful! Mountains are spotles, and Sava river springs are so clean and clear that you wont beleive it. You can walk for miles and explore many paths, animals, and breath in the fresh air. Wonderful place to spend weekend.
