Unique interior design inspired by theatrical scenography is what makes it one of the most interesting places on Warsaw's event map! Warsaw is the European Capital of Culture and we would like to show our culture to everyone in the best way possible. That's why you can now enjoy our plays with ENGLISH SUBTITLES. No more language barriers! A majority of Capitol's performances were on Broadway and in other well-known theatres around the world. Most of the plays were written by notable playwrights. I highly reccomend the play called Klimakterium i już. It was my first time in the Capitol theatre and definitely not the last one. The acting was at a very high level, the songs in the show were funny and brought freshness and the sometimes spontaneous jokes of the actresses enhanced this atmosphere. I also liked the decorations inside the theatre which highlighted the uniqueness of this place. It was very Well spent time and I can’t wait to return for another spectacle.

After recommendation from my work colleague, I've decided to give it a try since theatre offers subtitles in English so we went to see "The Birthday Present".
The wows started from the entrance, place is decorated very beautifully and has it's unique own character. Before the show we enjoyed great drinks at the bar and enjoyed some live music while waiting for the doors to open.
Stuff was super friendly, open and helpful.
Show was great, really liked the decor and costumes, also we followed everything easily and I don't think we've lost anything in translation:)
During break, I've enjoyed some cheesecake and coffee - bar gets rather busy but staff serves quickly so it's worth it - especially the cheesecake.
I will be definitely visiting again.

Everyone knows the plot of this fairy tale very well, so when going to the theatre for this play I didn't know what to expect, especially as I went there with my two nephews.
But Cinderella performed at the Capitol Theatre exceeded my wildest expectations. A revelation!
A modern take on the play, pedagogical aspects, amazing acting (Stepmother ❤), but also the songs and the whole production at a high level!
I will definitely go back there!

Don't waste your money unless you like hard working actors struggle to make sense of a terrible script and horrible set. Kudos to the senior actors especially but this play stinks as wella s the set. something from the 1970s that should have been buried there. I'm certain that there's Polish playwrights that can write as poorly as this script, but I'm also sure they wouldn't.

Hoping to escape boredom, we went with friends to the Capitol Theater and, as it turned out, it was a hit. We were not only delighted by the decor of the theater, but also by the delicious drinks served at the bar and very nice staff members. The show we went to was called „O co biega?”. It's been a long time since I've had so much fun. A great cast of actors, cheerful atmosphere and unusual storyline gave us a wonderful time. I will definitely recommend this show to all my friends!

Capitol Theatre ,Warsaw:AVOID!
The theatre itself seemed to be relatively atmospheric ,however,as soon as I got there ,the issues around the SEATS took all the charm away...Very unfriendly door staff approached with some ridiculous looking cushions 'explaining 'those who booked online must wait for the 3rd bell to ring in order to 'hunt 'for remaining free seats ...As soon as I found one,and thought at least I could enjoy sitting for the price paid ,following the inter break,I was told in the most rude manners I've ever heard ,to leave ,as someone apparently reminded theselves to turn up in the middle of the play...Staff was extremely unfriendly ,announcing to me all they could offer is the floor seat ,without even trying to make an effort to find an alternative seat, as a result breaking their weird rule of the customer being able to take any available seat providing the 3rd bell rang...I handed over the cushion and walked off...I didn't expect this sort of low level at Warsaw theatres ...Well,apparently I've been enjoying the artistic scene for far too long in London...Still a long way to acquire the world standards ...Definitely to be avoided!
