Sadly I was there just a little too late, the frontage is now all screened over, however i found my way round the back and although there are high barriers was still able to take some photos. This is an amazing block that survived in the ghetto through till now, I know it will be treated with the greatest respect, but I wish I had seen it in all its scarred glory.

I think this place is more dedicated to people of Warsaw - until the renovation of Próżna street will not take place. Almoust the entire Jewish life of Poland's capitol is located next to Grzybowski Square.

Grzybowski Square and its surroundings not only are of a historical value but now they offer multiple dining and drinking options on the renovated Prozna street. The business district of Warsaw is also nearby (Warsaw Financial Center, Rondo 1).

Another square in the middle of Warsaw , about 15 minutes walk from the Old Town Royal Castle square . Not crowded with tourists . Google it up for its history .The area was part of the Jewish Ghetto during WWII . Here is where we have started our second excellent "Walkative Free Tour" of Warsaw . Around the square you may find : All Saints Catholic Church , with the statue of John Paul II in front of it ; The new Jewish theater ; a couple of nice looking , tempting cafes ; and the hidden gem in the middle - the memorial garden and the beautiful fountain and pools . Don't miss it .
The Nozyk Synagogue is only a few minutes walk from here .

At a nice day it is lovely to walk in that area between a park, palace, historical buildings and modern areas. However, the remains of the ghetto are there and the beauty of the historical buildings cannot erase the evil that was there and there is a strange negative vibe in the city. Apparently there are condos going to be built on all the remnants but the atmosphere will still be there. Could not wait to leave.

I love that area. Amazing history of that area. They brought it back to life with such a nice fountain, new square, great theatre (Jewish Theatre) on a square, where you can see great plays or musicals. Nice cafes around and very close to the city centre. Worth visiting!
