This theatre where you can you can arrange an entire night of classic dinner, dancing and entertainment surely will remind you the pre-war Warsaw cabarets. It is the unique of this kind in the whole country.
I was there for dinner and entertainment with friends but exists the option of going there without the dinner. I would recommend that because the buffet food was really poor and forgettable. It is not worth.
The shows are varied and not bad: well known variety shows, comedy shows, musicals, and different performances by stars of cabaret soirees. The only problem is that all the jokes are in polish, anyway It is something different to do in Warsaw and the atmosphere is cheerful. It is highly enjoyable to go with a group of people

A colleague made a reservation for me to go for dinner and show and went to pay on arrival. The price around 65 euros for which you get a welcome drink a meal and a show. Things went wrong on arrival due to a language barrier with the consequence I was given a card for 2 persons show only. I had reserved dor dinner and show for one and after talking to the manager they arranged for a table at the best place, also got a glass of wine as a way to apologize.
Dinner could be improved. cold entree is average, you have to get it yourself from the Buffett in another room. For main dish you chose among 2 plates. Also average.
The show was good with a variety of artists singing and dancing different genres and languages. You had the chance to dance until midnight. For Poland is expensive. Taxis just at the door so you can go back to your hotel. Average location and food still enjoyed the show.

We were celbrating 20years of existance of our company with about 100 customers. Also invited management from Holland and Israel. We all enjoyed a good old fashioned can-can show with great life singers that brought the right ambiance for dancing and drinking. The food is nothing to write home about, and keeps the review short of excellence level. A strong contribution was done by our waitress MAGDA, who realy made a difference. Incredible how she always notices glasses being almost empty and kept excellent pace of attention. She even showed great dancing skills, after Janusz, the manager, allowed for a single dance. Well deserved, after showing such high efficiency in working. Highly recommendable to enjoy a good show at a reasonable price with best service in town. Just manage your expectations on the food. It is jsut OK, and you will not be hungry when going home. Chapeau for the survival of this historic Sabat Theatre. Must see in Warsaw.

Those who read my reviews know that I am not a 'hater' and generally try to give positive reviews where they are merited, but with this review the task is at best extremely difficult and to be honest - impossible.
I last visited this theatre 10 years ago. In concept it harkens back to the glorious inter war years of a newly free Poland. Since that visit it seems to have gone into a freefall downward spiral.
But let's go point by point.
The welcome drinks of sparling wine were arranged on trays. My wife without noticing took a barely filled glass and after consuming it reached for another when she was vociferously reprimanded by a very officious waiter - so, not very welcoming.
We were shown to our table and to be fair, although we had expected to share the table with 2 strangers (as per the plan) we in fact had a small but sufficient table to ourselves.
The first course is arranged as a buffet in the corridor to the theatre. After the first wave of guests passed through we joined the next group - which stood and looked at the empty buffet plates....after a few guests asked passing waiters if there was going to be more put out, we were told ...to wait. I eventually scraped some vegetable salad from the bottom of a serving bowl and returned to my table, making an 'appropriate' comment to the 'chef' who was presenting a 'show' of the main course - in his business suit.
As it was my wife's birthday which we were celebrating I ordered a bottle of Moet Chandon. A warm bottle was presented in a bucket of...water. At which point a waitress came to the table with a plate onto which some buffet items had been thrown with a sneering observation that she had brought a plate as I had asked for 'more'....
From the 3 items on offer for the main course we chose the duck with pearl barley. This was presented in a jumbled mess, thrown onto the plate with the pearl barley reminding me of a heavy traditional scottish porridge rather than the fluffy pearls that should accompany this meal. Apart from looking terrible it tasted terrible.
The sweet which eventually arrived during the darkness of the show - judging by the taste I can guess why, was after tasting also left by us on the plate.
Moving now to the show.
All songs shouted rather than sung.
Ill-fitting dresses held together by varying sizes of visible safety pins.
Tired dance routines that the dancers laboured through (going through the motions).
And dancers in one routine dressed in obviously a job lot of different wedding dresses bought cheaply as each one was totally different.
During the 15 minute break we took advantage of the siuation and left. Along the way we complemented Ola the ONLY waitress that evening who was actually WORKING and spoke to other staff who confirmed that most evenings they had to listen to complaints about the food, but that the management took no notice. The rest of the waitresses weren't even present by the tables most of the time.
IF you do decide to go, please do not treat this as a true example of the golden inter war years of Warsaw or even the modern 'european' Poland but rather an example of the worst elements of Poland's sad communist era.
A parting thought of this review is that this theatre today matches the sad direction that the current PISs government is taking the country. Let's hope that they both manage to be turned around.

Second time visiting after finding this place back in 2012. A Parisian-style cabaret, minus the Parisian (over)pricing. Had a great night out for just $30. Saw "Hollywood on Foksal Street," lots of film and musical hits complete with ballet dancers and acrobatics.

We were today in Teatr Sabat and enjoyed “The Best of Sabat”.
The show was real great. Very good actors.
And also the dinner buffet was very good, enough and refilled again and again.
Service was also great.
We will visit it soon again and recommend it of course.

Are you looking for a nice show in the city, better avoid theatre Sabat and go to BUFFO. It is so pricey here and they provide really poor entertainment. They stoped in communism era and pretend to be like theaters from Broadway. We watched Hollywood on foksal and was so so. It was my first and for sure last time in this place!

We have been invited by our friends for New Year's Eve 2018 Party to Theatre Sabat.
We have NEVER seen such horrible service and food quality, we will report dirt to the cleanliness control institution in Warsaw.
This place should be closed!
