A striking exterior is one of the attractions of this fine church. In the Neoclassical style it has matching belfries that are shaped like the containers in which incense is burnt.
Inside is gorgeous. The high altar is highly embellished in marvellous Rococo. The vista along the nave is arresting with grand arches and columns.
An ornate pulpit is attractive. The ceiling is wonderfully decorative in stucco and furnishes a breathtaking scene along its full extent.

With so many churches lining the road in the same area one can become overextended. This very baroque and roccoco building us worth stopping into. Like everything else it was rubble at the end of WWII. Respect goes to the Polish people and their Church...

The main neoclassical structure is late 17th century, but the impressive facade was erected some 100 years later. Chopin got his first job here.in the 1820s. Beautiful baroque and rococo style interior. The relatively short Roman arches keep the light at an acceptable almost cosy level.
Well worth a visit.

Visited on Wednesday 4th October. If you love visiting Churches/Cathedrals then you will be spoilt for choice in Warsaw. This was my favourite that I saw on my brief visit to the Old Town.

Is not so beautiful as Marianki Church in the square of old town of Krakow, or as Black Madonna at Chestohowa but i felt the calmness and simplicity inside and is attractive outside with it's architecture. Was easy to find, walking in Krakowskie przedmiescie on the way to the old town's square.

The Carmelite Church is also a Roman Catholic church. It has a notable neoclassical-style facade, created in the 18th century.
The church is known for its twin belfries shaped like censers. However, the church is most notable for being the site of Chopin's first employment as he was invited to perform a recital on the church's organ.

Located in close proximity to the Presidential Palace is the Carmelite Church, also known as the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and St. Joseph. No service was underway so we entered the church and took several photographs. Warsaw is rich in beautiful churches.

Another church on Krakowskie Przedmiescie BLV , originally wooden built in 1643 , and burned down by the Swedes a few years later . The church has a Neoclassical style facade , with two small censer-like shape bell towers . The church was only slightly damaged during WWII . The interior is not that glitzy , but Chopin did play the organ here .
Have your cameras handy , and note the Monument of Adam Mickiewicz , in the adjacent small garden .
