Beautiful amphitheater. I would not make a special trip just to see it, but make sure you visit while visiting Lazienki Park.

You need to rest a little bit during your tour around the park. Dont go there. The place is dirty, honestly the tables were full of coffee and ice cream. The coffee i ordered too epensive.

Inaugurated for the anniversary of the election of King Stanisław August Poniatowski, September 1791. Built at the edge of the pond , it's a summer theater , It looks like its architecture to ancient constructions. While the theater is reminiscent of Herculaneum theater and is topped by statues of famous playwrights (very beautiful statue of Aristophanes) The scene refers to... More

It depends on the weather though. the park was pleasant and nice. With large areas for children to run. fun with all the fish in the water and birds. Would brought bread to feed them with. and would take a packed lunch for us when there was a shortage of places to buy coffee or something, unfortunately.

This is an experience not to be missed when you visit Warsaw. This is a massive, beautiful, mature park in the heart of the city. To spend an afternoon walking on the paths, enjoying the Polish families, and the little outdoor cafes is a sheer delight. Chopin concerts on Sunday afternoons are enjoyed by thousands! Bring a blanket and a nice... More

So nice place in the crowded city to have a rest little. It is not far to to city center. By 1-2 tram you can easily reach to the park. If you visit warsaw you must see this park. It is great place.

Set in a beautifully serene area, the Chopin monument is ideally situated.Reconstructed after being destroyed by the Germans in World War 2, it consists of 3 intricately woven parts.....the delicate fingers of Chopins hand, the symbolic eagle, and the weeping willow (reminiscent of Chopins early childhood home), combine to make a sight worth seeing.

Great experience - Antique open air theatre set on an island in a park, opposite the palace. Try to visit the King's Palace on Water - and see a play as part of Warsaw experience. Ice cream is a must - they don't serve them that way anywhere else.

The park has free Chopin concerts from June- Sept on Sundays- at the Chopin monument- a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.
