Nice monument

This is a very nice monument for those in the Warsaw Uprisings. It was a moving, peaceful spot in the hustle and bustle. I recommend stopping for a moment to think.

There's a couple of sculptures here, the other depicts a patriot being helped into a manhole, which, by the way is literally at the intersection close by. Look for the symbol of a P and a W under it as this signifies that there was some action here and people died.

This monument was quite stunning and very well done. The figures are very detailed and represent various groups in the uprising. It only needs a short visit but is memorable.

I am still taken aback by the amount of breathtaking monuments in the city. This is one we visited at night when it looked great lit up from below.

Enjoyed the historical aspect of this. Would highly recommend to others if in Warsaw. They have a great deal of tradition and history which is worth seeing.

When walking around Warsaw, this monument should be included to the tour. Some previous knowledge of WW II will come handy to understand the meaning of this monument.

This is an interesting monument if you are aware of the Warsaw Uprising. I had no knowledge of the WW II history of Warsaw so it was a good thing that we saw this on a bus/walking tour. Our guide provided us with a lot of information for things that would have been meaningless otherwise.

This monument is situated next to the law courts on Miadowa street and close to the Old Town area. It is a stunning work with amazing detail and is both captivating and chilling at the same time. Another place for reflection.

Looking at the monument you can almost feel the movement of the rebels. Definitely worth a look if you have the time.
