The music was great!
We had Polish composers and other European (more popular) composers... it was beautifully interpreted and played.
The building is gorgeous and is very pleasant! sits are comfy!
If you arrive at the last minute, don't bother getting placed tickets, just take the last minute tickets and you can sit wherever there are free spots. (some better ones in the parterre opened at the break)

I have twice now been to the Philharmonic and sat with my friend twice in the second row. Once was for a traditional orchestra event. Once (last night) was for four young saxophone players from Germany who were given FIVE curtain calls by an appreciative audience. The place is an architectural canyland. The seats are comfortable with plenty of room for my long legs. The music is impeccable. I travel a lot. This is my second favorite musical venue. The first is Clowes Hall in Indianapolis. There aren't enough stars in this review to describe how wonderful it is. Hint: water or snacks are not allowed in theater.

I have been there several times over the years. The last was in May for an evening of Sibelius and Beethoven. For some reason we always score tickets in the second row, but the concerts are always worth the poor view. The orchestra is tight and very professional, we have seen them perform with world class soloists and on their own and each time the show left our heads spinning (in a good way).

if you suffer from lower back problems, it pays to bring a supporting pillow or other device to tuck behind your back. The experience was for us very good, we had a great view from fifth row, and the music from the grand piano was crisp and clear. Tried to get a coffee during the break, but the Saeco espresso bar isn't up to par at 8 PLN for a cup of weak coffee. Great efficient coatroom service!

It is a typical place for classic music lovers. Evening concertoes are fine before dinner in one of nearby restaurants. Good orchestra, some fine solists and not expensive entry tickets.

We attended a great concert for closed audience. Nice hall with impressive acoustics and comfortable seats. The location is central in Warsaw.

I attended their "Jazz of Old Berlin" concert on April 7th 2018. The orchestra was fab, and as an English speaker who (ashamedly) knows no Polish it was easy enough for me to find my seat and ask attendants for help.
I was caught off guard a bit when people started clapping between movements but it was nice to be part of such an appreciative audience

Is there better philharmonic hall to listen and see Robert Schumann´s Piano Concerto in A Minor? It was as strong and personal interpretation by Martin Helmchen with National Philharmonic Orchestra under direction of Olari Elts. Long ago I intended to visit Warsaw National Philharmonic I know from the final concerts of Chopin International Piano Competition transmitted all over the world by TV. National Philharmonic is not very big (1007 seats as I learned from theatre attendant) but I have fallen in love with this hall immediately. And what a lovely architecture! In the end I like the way they treat the grand piano (see short footage). Definitely I recommend this place.

We bought our tickets online - can we show them on our phones or do we need to print them out?

Hi fellow travellers...… in going to this for a piano concerts, what area of the hall would have the best seats? If you could also list rows where a short person could comfortably see the stage, that would also help. Are any of the balcony seats any good? In the seating chart, it seems to show that only the first two face the stage and the rest face over the floor seats.
