I felt like I went back in time. It was lovely, the cake was also yummy. A very intimate recital in a living room. People were kind, music was wonderful. A lovely break from a hectic day.

As you can expect, there are many venues in Warsaw that offer Chopin concerts. I'm glad that I decided to go with Chopin Salon. Their recitals are held in a living room of a Bed & Breakfast. So, the acoustics is not the best, but it feels intimate and cozy. On the day I visited (June 23, 2019), the pianist was a young lady from South Korea. I was blown away by her performance. She was amazing. I just could not believe any human can possibly move their fingers the way she did. As other reviewers pointed out, their recitals are short. About 45 minutes, but it's only 40 PLN (approx. 10.5 USD). So, you can't complain, particularly for the quality. Booking tip: I learned about Chopin Salon in Rick Steves' guidebook, but it wasn't clear how to make a reservation. So, I emailed the B&B (info@bbwarsaw.com), made a reservation, and paid for it at the door.…

Dear Masanori, Thank you for the detailed description of the place, atmosphere and the way you can catch us. The Chopin Salon is no longer a historical living room but it has its appearance. It can accommodate no more than 40 people, and the acoustics improve with more people in the audience. Let's try to fill the room together, and the acoustics will be perfect, Korean pianist Wanyou Back and her fellow pianists as someone else will be happy in the salon every day! Organizers too I cordially invite you

A highlight for young and old. Beautifully performed in a setting that feels like you are welcomed into a sitting room with friends. Drink and cake a welcome addition too.

Dear Sarah, Thank you for your visit and for compliments not only for the pianist. Our restaurant chef, Krzysztof, who specializes in excellent cakes, was also happy. The best cheesecake is the one that most often graces the daily Chopin concerts in the living room. I invite you again

Imagine a professional musician play an intimate show in your living room! The performance we attended was just like this— a fantastic classic duo, with talented and passionate musicians— in a small, intimate salon.

And what to add here? Dear Guest, we decided so on June 21, 2013, that is over 6 years ago. Every day from this date, we have concerts performed by outstanding artists. By today, well over 2,000. The showroom where the concert takes place serves most of the day as a rehearsal room. And there are different people because we adopted the principle that a different artist plays with us every day Thank you for recommending Chopin salon

An absolutely beautiful atmosphere! There were only about 20 people there in what felt like someone's (fancy) sittingroom. At the front of the room is a fantastic grand piano and while you soak in the comfort and homliness of the room, the waitress gives you an nice big glass of wine and a slice of cake to make you feel at home! (Great accomodation for English speakers.) We were then introduced to our pianist: a teacher of Chopin's music in the local college. It was a privilege to experience. Anyone who appreciates classical music should go here!…
