Due to Covid we attended an online Pierogi cooking class. Never having done an online cooking class before, we had some doubts before whether this would be a fun experience. It turned out that not only was a lot of fun, but also interesting to learn about polish food and culture. And the pierogi we managed to cook were really delicious! The class was presented quite professionally, with several cameras so you could see how to prepare everything. It was always possible to give some feedback or ask questions to the hosts. The host were really friendly and funny. We enjoyed the class a lot.

We took the online class on Sunday (it is now Tuesday) and made cucumber soup and stuffed cabbage rolls. Delicious as evidenced by all of the dozen rolls being eaten by my husband in 3 days. We took the class from Florida with our son’s family in Denver. A nice way to spend the afternoon together doing something we both enjoyed. They are open to ideas and you have an opportunity to chat online with questions. It will be helpful for future classes to have the recipe in advance to read as they plan on doing for the next class in a couple of weeks. That class will be our third with them. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed a Warsaw food tour with Eat Polska a couple of years ago. They turned out to be a wonderful choice for an online cooking class that our entire family could attend, even though we are separated by the pandemic. I was very impressed by the instructor's ability to lead us through the preparation of multiple courses, explaining the history of the dishes and ingredients used, and answering questions all the while, with the help of an assistant. The food (a broth-based soup, ground pork fried cutlets, a cucumber and onion salad, and nutmeg seasoned mashed potatoes) was delicious, and the soup, in particular, can be used as a very versatile base for other variations. We will be keeping an eye on upcoming virtual events, and, should we make it to Poland at some point, one of Eat Polska's food and/or vodka tours will definitely be on our list.
