Gośka was a fantastic guide. Visiting many cities in Europe, I always prioritise going on a free walking tour on my first or second day to get my bearings around the city. Gośka happens to be one of the first local guides I have come across. She is passionate about her city and was very informative and accommodating. I enjoyed learning about the Old Town and its relatively recent history, a testament to the tenacity and bravery of the Polish people. The pace of the tour was great and the amount of information was just right. I would highly recommend it to anyone new to the city and keen to learn more about the Old Town and how it came to be.

Our family participated in all Orange Umbrella Tours. Our guides Albert, Gawel, and Max were fantastic. They were informative, professional, fun, and enjoyed telling stories and answering questions about their city. We would recommend any of the tours for a great way to experience Warsaw through the eyes and voice of an informed local. Thank you Gawel, Albert, and Max! Max, we loved that you incorporated the experiences of your Grandmother.

The tour was excellent! Our tour guide was Gavel and I could notice his great interest and knowledge about the whole topic! The tour was made even nicer by visual experiences (photos from the past) and he did a good job engaging everyone into the process. He showed interest into the reason why we are visiting the city and why we are interested into the tour's topic in particular. Although it was a lot of information, I could listen to it very well till the end and I was becoming more interested into the topic because of the high quality of the tour and the interactive learning. Thank you very much Gavel! I can only recommend it to anyone who is interested or who just seeks to learn about something new.

Magda took this tour on Sunday 17/07/2022 covering the effect of World War II on the city. It was both a lively and informative way of seeing Warsaw in context it's relatively recent history. Magda provided a comprehensive tour touching on significant events that occurred throughout the war together with those events relevance to Warsaw's buildings and monuments. Very worthwhile. Thanks Magda.

We did the Jewish Warsaw walking tour with Magda, and both the tour and guide were fantastic. Magda brought the history to life and broke down all the different components really clearly, whilst delivering the story with passion and respect. I felt like I learned a lot but it didn't feel like learning. She also built in lots of places for us to sit down while she talked, which not many tour guides think about. I really appreciated her recommendation for the Polin Museum, which I went to the next day (also highly recommended). Thanks Magda!

Always believing a walking tour is the best way of discovering the fabric of a city, our two Orange Umbrella Free Tours did not disappoint in any way! Starting on the day of arrival, we did the 'World War II in Warsaw' tour with Max. Despite the fact that he only had two couples on the tour, and he arguably would have earned less money from such a small group, he still had time for all our questions which meant, along with his thorough answers delayed his finish time by 45 mins. He checked in with us as he could see the finish time was not going to be met but our little group was so fascinated by the historical stories that were being told to us, that we all asked him to please carry on!

The next day we had booked the 'Best of Warsaw' tour and were delighted to see Max again standing, waiting already, on the steps of Sigismund's Column, with his orange umbrella and Union Jack, despite the fact we were 15 minutes early. A bigger group this time (seven), he juggled carefully the task of ensuring it was a completely 'new' tour for us (and the other couple from yesterday who also booked again) and his enthusiasm for his city meant that we learned so much again. He has a great knack of interpreting historical events and linking the causes and effects which then makea sense of so much of what you now see in Warsaw.

Max also, correctly reading our eagerness to understand as much as we could for such a complicated history as Warsaw, recommended some books which he suggested we would enjoy for further reading. I would highly recommend to anyone I knew who was going to Warsaw - and do it early on after arrival.

Would highly recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in WW2. Arek gave us a really interesting overview of the events and how Warsaw and its inhabitants were affected by it all. Arek was super passionate about the city’s history and he was keen to answer our questions. He’s an OG Warsowian and he happily shared some tips on other cool places to visit too. This is a must do tour when visiting Warsaw!

I actually joined 3 tours with Orange Umbrella (Best of Warsaw, Jewish Warsaw, and Old Town), and luckily, each tour was with the incredible Magda! I happened to arrive in Warsaw on the weekend, so first did the Best of Warsaw trip to help orientate me with the city. I learned so much about Warsaw and saw sections of the city I would not have come across on my own wanderings. Magda is clearly quite passionate about the city, and provided great graphics to help us understand the history of Warsaw and images of Warsaw before and after the War. At the end of the tour she even provided wonderful food and museum recommendations, which helped shape the rest of my time in Warsaw, and really gave me an appreciation of the history and place.

We did the Old Town and the Best of Warsaw walking tours on two different days. Each of the guides, Goska and Albert, were excellent providing insights and history about Warsaw. You came away with a greater understanding and appreciation of the city, plus a few stories to retell others. The two hour walks were the right amount of time.

An excellent way to explore the historical areas of Warsaw. Gośka was a great guide, very personable and she has a very good command of the English language. She is passionate about her city, its history and clearly enjoys her work, finding the people in her groups interesting too. There was no pressure and the pace was good. We enjoyed Jewish Warsaw so much, we booked on the World War II tour the following day.
Thank you so much Gośka.
