About
Tour guide and journalist Touring Warsaw is a fascinating journey through history in a place that became history`s playground like no other in Europe. There is no city in Europe that has experienced more dramatic changes in the past 200 years - war and peace, democracy and dictatorship, freedom and slavery, communism and capitalism, total destruction and constant recovery - it all left marks, creating chaotic, difficult but very interesting space. But Warsaw is not only about a dramatic past. Today it`s one of the most growing European cities, so I also put a lot of emphasis on local life. And my tours are always very personal. They are made up not only of the city and stories, but of myself – my passions, my intellectual curiosity, my journalistic experience. I think the latter is what shaped me in particular. Guiding has much to do with journalism.

Pawel is so knowledgeable about Polish history and culture, the city of Warsaw, and the history of the Jews in Poland. We were fascinated by his telling of Poland's complicated history and how he contextualized it within the greater world. We enjoyed walking through Warsaw and not only seeing the important sites but understanding their significance and architectural importance.
Pawel has a knack for also pointing out some of the less known sites but sites that add to the richness of this beautiful city. His intellect and ability to discuss so many subjects gave our tours that much more depth. In addition, we also enjoyed seeing the "new" Warsaw with Pawel and walking through developing neighborhoods.

One of the best decisions we've made when visiting Warsaw was taking this tour with Pawel. There are so many amazing things about Warsaw that are hidden and you will for sure miss them if you don't have someone knowledgeable to show them to you (understandable for a city that had to be rebuilt from the ground up). Pawel has a great story to say about Warsaw (with funny things and sad things but always surprising, easy going and engaging) and he tells this amazing story while you visit the most important sites and experience the place. It was so engaging that even our 11 year old son lasted for the entire duration in a very cold December day. We now have a new appreciation of Warsaw and of polish people and their history and we felt we left enriched by our visit to Warsaw thanks to this tour. A BIG thank you to Pawel!

Our trip to Poland was fantastic!!
Pawel is an excellent guide with experience and a wide knowledge about Poland, Warsaw as well as jewish history that was important for our family.
He also took us to taste local pastries!
Our tour was scheduled in such a great way that we had the opportunity to visit many places in very short time. Thank you!
I highly recommend Pawel.

Paweł is a wonderful Warsaw guide, who can teach you a lot about Jewish Warsaw and POLIN Museum, and more. His English is impeccable, and so is his knowledge. He is also very fun to be with. I would definitely hire him again for my future foreign and domestic guests!

Pawel is an exceptional guide. His knowledge of Polish history and culture is both deep and wide. He is also a very interesting man to spend the day with. His tour felt more like hanging out with a friend then a commercial transaction. If you have only one day in Warsaw, you couldn’t do better than spending it with Pawel.

Pawel is a wonderful guide. He is well versed with the history and culture of Poland and presents it in a very interesting manner. I enjoyed walking with him on the streets of Warsaw and getting to know the monuments, architecture and the cultural heritage. I really admired his ability to explain such complex history in a concise way and helped me get a better perspective of the town. His sense of humour and detailing of few stories made the trip more enjoyable. It was an amazing experience, Thank you!

Pawel is so passionate about his profession. We rengaged in a very detailed and elaborate tour with Pawel. He was able to explain information very clearly and answered any questions we had. He had photos and maps and painted a complete picture for us. Pawel definitely knows his stuff. I would highly recommend Pawel to anyone who wants an outstanding tour and explanation of Warsaw, past to present.

The Warsaw city tour was amazing and we had a good time despite the cold weather. The tour was very informative and it was wonderful to be acquainted with the rich history of the place. Thanks to our guide Pawel who told us many stories and instances and also had a funny side to him. Meeting the Luxoft new joiners was a pleasure!

I cannot emphasize how much Pawel added to our recent Poland visit. He has an astounding grasp of Polish history, culture and arts. More importantly, he is passionate about what he does and imparting his knowledge. A day with Pawel is a well planned and efficient use of your travel time. He even will incorporate a visit to his favorite bakery for pączki. The time I spent with Pawel not only provided information but actually helped change my perceptions of Poland. Thank you Pawel.

Hello Pavel,
We want to visit the Jewish sites, the Ghetto remains and such. I figure that we will do the museums on our own, but want to see as much as possible in the short time we have in the city.
What do you charge for an afternoon or day? Would you be able to pick us up at the airport (Chopin) that afternoon (the flight should arrive at 12:30) and go directly into touring?
I hope to hear from you soon.
Thank you,
Mishka Luft
