Me and my mother visited Warszawa for 4 days. We wanted to go to Treblinka and decided to travel with "AN Poland Travel".
We paid the whole fee in advance and got an email from the company saying that we weren't suppose to meet up at 09 AM the next day as we were firstly informed, but 08.55 AM. Very precise.
Well, we were there on time and waited..and waited. Finally, our guide (Marek) showed up 50 minutes late!! He didn't even called to say he was late, even though he got my number (through the company).
The car ride was awefull, because he was not a good driver to say the least. He tried to pass other cars in turns and he managed to stop the car multiple times (it was manual car).
When we arrived at the museum, he talked about the WWII and the jews for 1,5 hour before we went outside to Treblinka II. We looked at the camp and took some pictures (the buildings were eliminated during the war). We were outside for about 20-30 minutes, before driving back home.
The money we pay for the trip, included lunch. We were informed that lunch was paid for, but we had to cover beer, wine, soda etc. by ourselves. Good enough.
However, when we had ordered, eaten and were ready to leave, we were informed that several of us had to pay for half of the meal, because we ordered fish and it was too expensive. So 4 out of 5 had to pay extra, when we were informed that lunch were included.
When we waited for Marek in the morning, we contacted the compay (AB Poland Travel), first by phone several times, but they didn't pick up. When we emailed them they distanced themselves from the situation. It was not even debatable if we could get a small refund.
The lunch were just the finishing touch and we were not impressed with the service. To stop us from wanting a refund from the compay, Marek wanted to pay for me and my mom's lunch (the extra money we were asked to pay afterwards).
We arrived back in Warszawa almost one hour after schedule, because of Marek's delay in the morning.
We definitely don't think it was worth the money.
