Our really helpful guide picked us up on time from the hotel and drove us safely all day. The other guide at the Wolf's Lair was really informative and helpful. She was so good that the 90 minutes there just flew past! hard to take in the fact that you are walking in the footsteps of some of history's most infamous people!
We also visited the bunkers at Mamerki when our driver acted as the guide and also took us to the museum (our visit was out of season so the main section here was not open).
The restaurant included was also really good, with fine food at very reasonable prices, so easy to stay within the limits of the re-paid meal included in the trip and yet still have a filling lunch.
Journey was good, with the driver always ready to stop if we needed a break.
Highly recommended all round

It's a experience that's a must when visiting the area it's such a inspiring place it makes you realise how lucky we are it gives you a insight to what really happened in the war the site s really well preserved and the museum has so much information about what happened their it's not commercial or a tourist like it's a peaceful spot and gives you insight that should never ever happen again my respect goes to the people who keep it so restful for a generations that never came home

The beautiful countryside surrounding Treblinka is a stunning counterpoint to the significance of this place. The museum provides very useful information, including some very moving first hand accounts. The memorials bring the enormity of the crimes committed there to life. If you come, you’ll never forget it.

Also, our guide was excellent and extremely knowledgeable.

This is not like Auschwitz, where there are physical remnants of the camp. There is a small museum, that is free and quite informative. It is the name and the memory that pervades this place. This is a little out of the way, but certainly worth the stop. It is open until seven and since we arrived late after a long drive, this was a relief.

AB Poland Travel delivered a memorable experience for me from beginning to end. I booked this tour about a month prior to my travel to Warsaw for the purposes of nurturing my interest in history and furthering my research for a personal project. The tour company was very responsive. Being that it was my first time in Poland and I was booking this tour as a solo female traveler, I asked questions to make sure I would be comfortable, and they were very responsive, reassuring, and accommodating. I ended up being the only participant, so I enjoyed a private tour, and they were able to accommodate an earlier start time so I could get back a little earlier. The driver, Matteus, arrived at my hotel a few minutes early. He was polite, easygoing, and a very safe driver! He confessed that his normal route was to Auschwitz, so instead of asking him questions about Majdanek, I ended up chatting with him about Polish culture, politics, and economics, which provided for a very easy and engrossing 3 hour ride to Majdanek. Once we arrived at Majdanek, I was greeted by the tour guide Patricia. She was impressive - a wealth of knowledge. She knew all the key dates of events that took place at the camp, the names of key figures at the camp, the details of daily life at the camp, details about every section of the camp, and fascinating stories about successful escapes from Majdanek. I was informed that while Auschwitz is the most frequently visited camp, Majdanek is the best preserved camp and less "commercial." There were some organized tour groups there at the site on the say I went, but the environment was definitely respectful and solemn. It didn't feel like a tour factory. Words cannot begin to describe the haunting experience I had at Majdanek. I am grateful that I was the only participant and Patricia was so patient, because I got to take the time I needed to absorb everything, especially in the museum. I think I took a lot more time than an average participant. Total, including the walking tour of the large camp, I spent about 3 hours there. Then, Matteus drove me and Patricia to Lublin, where we walk for 1.5 hours to learn about the history of her home town. The tour ended with a late lunch in the town center, at a restaurant Patricia recommended to be the best for traditional pierogis. Indeed they were the best pierogis I had in Poland! I cannot speak highly enough of this tour company, the driver, or the tour guide. If you are in Warsaw or anywhere in Poland and are interested in touring any of the camps, this company will ensure you have the best possible experience. TIPS: (1) in the summer, wear sunscreen; (2) wear comfortable shoes for a lot of walking; (3) have cash on hand to tip your driver and tour guide; if you are the only participant like I was, tip accordingly if you are pleased with the services.

We were two couples and took a private car for the 1 day tour to Auschwitz from Warsaw. The drive was private but we joined a group tour in Auschwitz. Piotr, our driver was great and the guide at Auschwitz as well. We were extremely happy with our experience and would absolutely recommend this tour our friends.

We booked this trip with the help of the information office in Warsaw old town.

They called the company and explained we would like to join a group going. They added us to a group of 4 other people.

The price changes depending on how many are in the group.

I had an email from the company to discuss adding on - and booking the trip was easy and quick.

We were picked up around 06.20 an travelled to Kraków
We had a stop on the way for food/toilet breaks. At a McDonald’s and service station.

The journey is long but we had expected this.

We arrived in Kraków and met our tour guide who was amazing.
She is very passionate about her county
She told us just the right amount of information to keep you interested and not bored.
She knows a vast amount of information.
We walked with her through the streets of Kraków. And then back to our drivers.

The drivers then took us for lunch- which was included . A three course polish meal- which was lovely.

We then traveled from the restaurant to Auschwitz where again she walked us round with a perfect amount of information.
Then on to Auschwitz-Birkenau camp.
Before travelling home .

It is a long day so pack some snacks and bring water .
It was totally worth the money and the journey.

I would 100% recommend

I can’t say enough good things about AB Poland Travel. I booked the Lublin/Majdanek tour with them and was super impressed. My driver Pawel was so well informed and made sure I knew everything I needed to know en route to Majdanek and the city of Lublin. I actually had a private tour of Majdanek and learned so much about the tragic history of this death camp. It is the best preserved of all the death camps and will haunt you for days. We then toured the city of Lublin which was fascinating to learn about. AB Poland Tours did a superbly fantastic job.

We were told to meet the driver at 7:30 at the hotel. He was at the lobby waiting for us at 7:25. The drive was 4 hours long but we had a break stopping at MacDonalds. The tour guide was great and was very informative. It was a very solemn visit. The lunch at the restaurant was enjoyable. My daughter had nut/seeds allergy and I told the driver in the morning. The restaurant substituted the dessert with fresh fruit for her so it was much appreciated. We got back around 7. The driver was driving quite fast at around 140 km/hr but we did not feel unsafe. I would recommend this tour.

I can't thank these guys enough for all of their help in planning a trip from Warsaw to Auschwitz for a large group of guests visiting on business. They answered every single one of my questions (which spanned over 3 months and 65 emails) with great knowledge, patience and good humour and were very concise with their information, even though I am sure I asked the same question several times! The tour itself was faultless with very positive feedback from the group on the days events. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and would recommend anyone who is thinking about doing this tour to book with AB Poland.
