After reading another review about a person travelling solo, I decided to contact AB Poland and dealt with Karina and Marta. I advised that I only had only 1 date that I could do the tour. At the time there was nothing available so I'd resigned myself to the fact that I wouldn't get to do the tour. Fortunately Marta contacted me the day before the date that I was available, to advise that they had another booking for the following day and was I interested. Yes - you bet I was!
I was picked up the next morning and did the tour with 3 other people who were from Finland.
The guide we had in Krakow - Mateusz, was awesome, engaging and very knowledgeable. We were then picked up again by the driver.
The driver that we had for the day was also Mateusz, we had fog for most of the journey to Auschwitz, and came back in the dark - his driving was brilliant. All of us felt incredibly safe in his hands.
Both of the tours are well worth doing, with incredibly guides at Auschwitz.
Highly recommend dealing with AB Poland, the coordination of the pickups, tours, dropoffs was perfect.
