The tour was wonderful, so convenient picking us up from our hotel in our own car from Warsaw. Our driver Robert was absolutely great, comfortable and talkative but not overbearing. The tour through Auschwitz was very interesting and sobering, we had a guide who was very knowledgeable and kept a respectful tone throughout the tour which we appreciated. The krakow tour was very nice too with lots of lovely architecture and food. I highly recommend the tour, if your willing to spend a little bit for a great and comfortable day from Warsaw to the south it’s definitely worth it!

We had a brilliant day at the Wolf’s Lair and Mamerki, with Piotr as our guide. He was very nice and accommodating, and also fairly knowledgeable. As I have very specific dietary requirements, he ensured I got a meal that suited my needs at lunchtime. He had the added challenge of the bunkers at Mamerki being closed, so was left to bring us around the smaller bunkers, while explaining how the larger bunkers were laid out. He was very knowledgeable of the history of the Wolf’s Lair, and the particulars of the place in terms of measures taken to conceal the area from the air, it was really very interesting. Our trip did not include Swieta Lipka.

Only had one day in Poland for sightseeing, debate between visiting sites around Warsaw or a day trip to the Camps. Contacted AB Poland travel and with one email it was arranged. I did the day trip to Auschwitz and late afternoon visit to Krakow. AB Poland found me a tour which worked with my schedule and at a reasonable price.
Driver Rafal picked me up on time and a new vehcile. He drove safely and concientiously along the winding roads. Lunch was great. Included and at a clean resto with staff who spoke English.
Our Auschwitz museum-supplied guide was fantastic. Great care to manage the group, he went at our pace and provided insightful context. He managed to get us through all the key sites in the time allowed.
Our driver again was in place and on time to get us to Auschwitz Birkenau Camp. Our guide met us there and took us through the sites displaying a keen understanding of the site and delivered with passion.
It was then off to Krakow with Rafal where wemet Zuzanna. This AB Poland supplied guide knew her city well and kept us going with stories and insight of Krakow right up until the two hour visit ended.
Rafal met us and delivered us home in my time as planned.

Only use this tour company if you are looking for transportation only. If you have any expectations that they are a tour company you would be wrong. We booked a very long day "tour" with this company and our driver not only didn't tell us anything about the timings of the day or coordinate the group at all (turns out he didn't even know himself!!), but he was using his own personal car, not one shown on their website. We received no information you would expect on a tour like where we were going, history and interesting facts about the places we were driving through or stopping in. Our "guide" was unfortunately just a driver and nothing else - it didn't make for a smooth or relaxing day.
Also - be careful!!!! There are hidden costs in your tour so be careful to read the details very carefully. Do not assume that your costs are covered for the places listed in the name of the tour you have booked - they probably aren't!!

Dear Liz, Thank you for your honest reply. I'm sorry to hear that your experience was not what you expected from our tour. We checked carefully all the issues and I would like to react to a few points: - cars listed in our website are just examples as we use many of them. The most important is that they all provide you with high comfort for a long journey. You went by Fiat Ulysse with 7 seats while you were 4 people in the group. You were also informed about possible upgrade to brand new Mercedes V-class. You decided to choose standard option. - our drivers speak good English and they are trained to talk about tourist attractions on the way but to a very limited extend. They are supposed to drive you safely and it is our highest priority. - tour description specify precisely what is included in the price. Let me quote description of your tour: “Price includes: • Transportation by car/minibus • Pick-up from your hotel • English-speaking driver • English-speaking guide in the Wolf’s Lair • Entrance fee to Wolf Lair (Mamerki extra 17PLN/4EUR) • Traditional Polish lunch (soup, main course, water) in regular restaurant; on request we can offer special menu in exclusive restaurant (extra paid) • Free wifi in most of our cars” I am sorry that these details were not clearly communicated with you. We will certainly take your feedback into account. We really try to have the highest standard of services and I hope that you were able to enjoy the tour despite the issues mentioned. If you happen to visit Poland again in the future, we would like to offer you a discount on a different one-day tour. If you return, don't hesitate to contact us. I wish you all the best. Piotr

We took 3 tours with this company and had an amazing time. The guides were informative and the drivers were very helpful. The Aushwitz/ Krakow your is a very long day with lots of walking. Well worth it if you have the stamina.
The Madjenek/ Lublin your was quieter and a shorter day. Our guide sure knew his facts and made it very interesting.
The tour to the Wolf's Lair was wonderful but a little bit spoiled by the pouring rain. Our guide lent me his umbrella which meant he got soaked. He still managed to keep us laughing with his funny anecdotes.
All in all very well worth the effort to go in these tours. I highly recommend them

We were picked up early 6.15am due to the winter timetable, but the car journey was not uncomfortable (although 4 hours), and Peter our driver was very pleasant. We stopped for breakfast and again for a comfort break. The tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau were sobering, interesting and so sad, all at the same time. I took my 18 and 21 year old daughters with me to show them that past history should never be repeated. They were respectful and I believe it was a worthwhile experience. Very cold, -14, but we had our thermals and ski jackets so were warm enough. The lunch on the return leg was very good.

We booked this trip through the tourist information office, and communicated with the company via email. It is a long day, Pick up at 6.30 and arrive home at midnight. The driver and minibus were on time, stopped regularly or on request and were organised. We had a two hour walking tour of Krakow, it was a shame we had no time to potter and shop on our own, and then on to the camps. I would advise you to take some water and a snack as we did not eat till 3pm. The food at the stop was poor, straight out of a freezer and bland in comparison to the other menu type fayre we ate in the city. The tour of the camps was excellent, moving harrowing and haunting. I spent much time in thought and reflection on the way home and this day will stay with me for the rest of my life. If you go to Poland you have to make this visit.

I took the day tour; the tour I took does not go anywhere else; just out and back at about 2 pm. Can't remember the tour company but found them at the Tourist Info office in Old Town. Tour leaves from downtown, a black van, very new, great driver, plenty of room and only 6 other people in the van. The short one hour drive was pleasant; the grounds and birthplace home of Chopin definite worth the drive and cost of the tour, about 30 USD. Best part however was the free concert/recital of Chopin's music at noon; a beautiful recital by perhaps the most talented pianist I've ever heard play Chopin's music. I'm a music teacher and I was stunned by the pianissimo passages, hardly could hear them, they melted into almost silence. Breathtaking performance; was moved to tears. Gift shop had lots of lovely and relatively inexpensive Chopin souvenirs; I bought lots.
