- Natasa KThessaloniki Region, Greece37 contributionsEscape to nature, while in the cityOne of the "must visit" places in Warsaw. Apart from its historical interest, it is also a very beautiful place for a long walk among impressive buildings, trees, flowers, birds and ponds. Something that made a very positive impression on me, was that there were crews everywhere tending the gardens and cleaning. I would recommend going relatively early, so that you have a few hours in daylight to enjoy it.Visited January 2024Traveled with familyWritten May 24, 2024
- Adam TYork, United Kingdom906 contributionsLovely stroll aroundWe were shocked at how empty this park was for how large it was, as we only saw maybe one or two school groups on our walk around. It’s buggy friendly as long as your wheels can handle a bit of gravel in parts and you don’t mind the big hills. We didn’t visit any of the inside of buildings, so there’s definitely more to explore than just the hour we spent there.Visited December 2023Traveled with familyWritten May 24, 2024
- LOTripsMumbai, India410 contributionsLovely morning spent hereThis park is huge and maintained beautifully. We spotted a dancing peacock, few partridges (I guess that's what they were), ducks / swans etc to name a few. It was cool on a nice summer morning, that we won't forget easily.Visited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 3, 2024
- Оксана ДDaugavpils, Latvia26 contributionsHuge parkVery old, but beautiful park. It's really calm place to walk. You don't need to pay for visiting the park, only for Palace. But they are opend only till 14. Nice buildings, but after Wilanow almost nothing to see incide. Possible to have a boat trip.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 13, 2024
- Jakub UWarsaw, Poland7 contributionsThe best park in Poland I've ever seenThe Royal Łazienki Park in Warsaw is a stunning blend of nature and history. This vast park, dotted with palaces, pavilions, and meticulously maintained gardens, offers a tranquil escape from the city’s hustle. Highlights include the elegant Palace on the Isle and the charming Amphitheatre. The park's serene lakes, abundant greenery, and cultural events create a perfect setting for relaxation and inspiration. A visit to the Royal Łazienki Park is a must for anyone seeking to experience the beauty and cultural richness of Warsaw.Visited July 2024Traveled soloWritten July 16, 2024

There are also a couple historic buildings scattered around the forest. It is the local option to escape the urban crowd.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 18, 2024
- EvitaRed22 contributionsDefinitely a must visit parkDefinitely a must visit ! This park is huge!! You can see animals such as peacocks and squirrels running around! In the Center of the park you can find one of the most wonderful palaces in Poland. It is located on the lake. You can take a tour of the palace with audio guide in your language. We stayed around 4 hours in the park and still did not manage to see everythingVisited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 24, 2024
- Clive W1,956 contributionsGreat gardens but tickets for buildings problematicWe took the 116/180 buses to and from these wonderful gardens. The bus journey was short, about 12 minutes and it was easy to buy bus tickets from the machines. The gardens were lovely, quiet and shady with plenty of seating. There are also (free) facilities. Getting tickets to the buildings was less easy. The ticket office was supposed to open at 1000 but did not seem to be open until 15 minutes later. There was a long queue so we did not bother. We were satisfied to see the buildings from the outside and they were spectacular.Visited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 7, 2024

The greatest park in Warsaw. Everybody will find something for themselves. A rarity is Sunday summer concerts at the Chopin monument. Many paths of greenery, many ducks, wonderful architecture and the vehicle of Marshal Piłsudski. A wonderful place.

We went there in January to see an exhibition of artefacts, which once belonged to the Royal House of Wettin, who once were the kings of Poland. And lousy kings at that. The exhibition was less than modest when compared to the treasures of Wettin Dresden. However, the Royal Lazienki complex was not. Even in winter it never lost its beauty and appeal. You can easily spend a day there if only weather is nice. In a spacious and beautifully maintained garden are a number of charming neo-classical buildings, which are a delight to see and visit. Palace on the Isle is a particular treasure reminiscent of Italian rinascimento. There are lovely caffes and restaurants in some of the pavilions. In the gardens tame red squirrels play host so don’t forget to bring plenty of UNsalted peanuts for them.

Words and pictures can't describe the beauty of this park. It is huge, with so many beautiful area's to walk and picnic in.
On Sunday in the park there was a pianist playing Chopin, and there were loads of people just enjoying the beautiful music in beautiful surroundings.
There are balloon and icecream sellers to keep the children happy. There are boat rides and just nice places to explore.

Came here last week whilst visiting my son. The park is very large and plenty to see. We entered the park near the Chopin monument and wandered along the paths noticing little red squirrels scurrying around. After a while we came upon Lazienki Palace by a pond where plenty of swans and peacocks were gathering alongside some lovely sculptures, next there is the amphitheatre, very impressive – A lovely park - very relaxing place to visit

A beautiful park, it would take at least two days to visit it all. Well-kept, clean, with wild animals roaming around undisturbed...
I recommend using the map to be able to visit the most beautiful areas of the park, and I recommend a ride on their typical boat on the lake in the center of the park!

Warsaw is a historical city with interesting places to visit. It is very cheap compared to other cities in Europe. I liked the food and the old town. I highly recommend the Polin museum. This is a magic place where you can learn about the Jewish history. If you like music, the Chopin museum is another worthy place to visit. I found a little bit difficult the culture. This must be because most of people do not speak English. It was difficult to communicate with them. I loved went around in Scooters. It was an easy and cheap mean of transport. Another good place to visit is Lazienki’s Park. There is a free concert at the statue of Chopin all Sundays at 12:00 pm. Definitely, my favourite plan was walking the old town. The best food is served at Zapiecek in the old town. I recommend to eat Pierogi with bacon.

These stunningly beautiful gardens are easily the best thing to see in Warszawa. There are picturesque lakes, grand buildings and a beautiful park and gardens, all free. They are quite big and not really that busy. We enjoyed a coffee on a terrace in a grand building with a view of the park down below, which we would recommend. Worth spending a bit of time here and relaxing.

I visited this park for Chopin's weekly concert. It is a public event that takes place on weekends (two concerts a week, it seems) during the summer period for many years, since the 1950s. Beautiful event! Each time several hundred or even thousands of people gather, sit on the paths and lawns, listen to music (about an hour).
The park itself is also interesting, lots of greenery and paths, and there is a palace (not even one). On the downside: some lack of maintenance, incomprehensible fences in the middle of the path, and lack of toilets.

One of the best places I’ve ever been to. It is also free. There are tremendous kinds of plants in that place it is so relaxing. Also, there are some concerts which are also free all you should do is finding a comfortable place for yourself and enjoy the nature, sun and music. Moreover, the location is central. In my country going to these places takes so many hours so it is surprising for me to find such a gem in a central location.

Το πάρκο δεν έχει εισιτήριο. Για την βαρκάδα στην λίμνη υπάρχει κάποιο μικρό εισιτήριο. Το παλάτι τον Ιούνιο που πήγα ήταν κλειστό.

I don't know for sure if it closes, but due to the fact that there are lockable gates I would assume there are opening hours for day times.

Boa tarde, a entrada no Parque é livre. Há, no entanto, actividades pagas como é o caso do jardim botânico e outras, que se encontram devidamente identificadas.

Добрый день! Подскажите пожалуйста. В парке есть где покушать? есть кафе, рестораны?
Written April 21, 2019
В парке есть кафе, и не одно. Можно и там пообедать, чтобы не искать в округе. Выбор блюд небольшой, но приемлемый.
