This is a really enjoyable botanical garden. I was here in August and many of the flowers were starting to wilt a bit but the gardens were still great. They must be spectacular in May/June. The cost was 20 zlotny ($5 USD). This place is well worth an hour or two for strolling around plus Ujazdowski Park and, of course, Lazienki Park are right next door. You can easily spend an afternoon or a whole day enjoying all three. That plus a picnic would give you a very memorable experience in Warsaw.

The old botanical garden is located next to Lazienki park and is not that interesting (and rather small), although in sping you can see a few nice flowers there. However, if you are really looking for a good "botanical" experience, I highly recommend to visit another botanical garden of Warsaw, in Powsin. It is really a wonderfull and very big park full of various trees and flowers. Visit it in April and May when everything blossoms and you will never regret it. The best way to get there is by bus 519 from the Central Rail station to Park Kultury in Powsin and then walk through for about 10 minutes to the entrance to the botanical garden.

A very beautiful garden, containing a variety of plants. It has some very beautiful compartments, just like the rose garden. It is not as big as other gardens (Bucharest's or Geneva's for instance) but it is worth a visit for a nice strolling around.

Lístok stál 10 zl. a bolo najlepšie invetovaných 10 zl. toho dňa. Navyše, boli tam aj toalety, na ktoré som v Lazienki parku nenatrafila.
Botanical garden is less aligned as Lazienki park. It looks much more wilder even though the flora is carefully maintained. Probably it´s really personal, but this places are full of various colors, various smells. Good smells. If you have time or want to spend time in beautiful garden I recommend Botanical garden better to Lazienki garden.
Btw, everything was either in Polish or Latin - but who cares? The atmosphere and area is wonderful.
Ticket costs me 10 zl, but it was totally worth it. Also, there are toilets, which I couldn´t find in Lazienki park.

A bit sad. Could be a very interesting garden and lovely spot but it really needs some attention. Not much out when we were there in May.

For anybody with a sincere, or even a casual interest in plants this is simply a must! Covers a very large area and a huge variety of plants including hundreds of types of roses and many different themes/environments.
Not really for a wet day and probably better to bring a picnic if you stay for long. 40 minutes by bus 159 from Central Station.

Really nice place outside of Warsaw. Huge garden for all kind of visitors - from families with children to deep botanists. Famous for pomological collection, national roses collection, displays of local flora and protected plants, nice alpine garden greenhouse and dendrarium.

We mistakenly entered the park thinking it was the Łazienki Park and they offered no refund. The park is ok if you’re into botany, otherwise just go straight to the Łazienki Park ;)

We stumbled across the botanical garden by accident as it wasn't marked or mentioned in our tourist guide for some reason.
The garden was quiet, well maintained (alneit largely not in bloom yet) and just really tranquil and mentally restorative. There are a few water features worth seeing and while not on par with some othwr botanical gardens of bigger cities was still a perfect respite and an opportunity to relax and enjoy the birdsong.

On our way to the shopen monument we saw the botanic gardens.
We thought it will be beautiful.
Nothing but green plants, horrible service and the sign is only in polish.
As an English speaker I couldn't enjoy anything.
Don't recommend going there, instead go the park 100 meter south from there.
