The neoclassical facade of St. Anne's is not very attention-getting, but the ornate Baroque interior is fabulous -- the most beautiful church in Warsaw. Fantastic pulpit and pipe organ. Adjacent to the main church building is the church tower, with a viewing terrace offering the best views of the Castle Square and Old Town.

The old academic church, like every church on Krakowskie Przedmieście, impresses with its history and appearance, but the church of St. Anne is the most important because it is academic. A separate point is the tower, which is open to the public and you can admire the views from it side of Warsaw, great place.

I don't know if it can be call a concert since it is only a one man playing baroque music. There are twice a day on at 12 pm and the other at 5 pm. We are so glad we made it. We've visited so many churches in the entire Europe and this is the first we actually sit down and listened a complete 30 minutes baroque music. It was quite an experience!

I have seen hundreds of churches and cathedrals in Europe. The outside of this building is very unassuming. The interior is quite pretty but nothing too spectacular. If you haven't seen a lot of churches in Europe then definitely stop in. The bell tower next to the church gives a very nice view of the old town and the rest of the city and I recommend climbing it. Viewing the interior of the church is free and only takes a few minutes.

Standing right next to the Royal Castle, this church has an amazing baroque interior with spectacular statues inside.
Due to my opinion is the most interesting church in Warsaw.
The viewing terrace next to it, from Church's belfry, serves as a perfect lookout point. After walking 147 stone stairs to the top of the tower, you will experience the breathtaking view of old town, the new skyscrapers and the rest residential areas. The ticket costs 5 PLZ, they dont accept credit cards, euros or dollars. Only polish cash.

The baroque organ concert is something really worth hearing. The organ itself is an amazing instrument, but hearing it played in this church is just a wonderful experience. The virtuoso who plays it, gives you a short overview of the church and the organ before he plays it. It is easy to understand why people had deep religious experiences while listening to organ music in churches. The vibrations can really get to you - like thunder sometimes - and you can even feel them through your feet. I really enjoyed it.

It is a church in the historic centre of Warsaw, Poland, adjacent to the Castle Square, at Krakowskie Przedmieście 68. It is one of Poland's most notable churches with a Neoclassical façade. The church ranks among Warsaw's oldest buildings. Over time, it has seen many reconstructions, resulting in its present-day appearance, unchanged since 1788. In 1454 Duchess of Masovia Anna Fiodorowna founded this church with a cloister for the Franciscan friars. The St. Anne's Church was reconstructed several times in 1603, 1634, 1636 and in 1667 (it was heavily damaged during the siege of Warsaw and plundered by Swedish and German troops in the 1650s. The church was slightly damaged in a German air raid on Warsaw in 1939. The roof was later seriously damaged by Wehrmacht soldiers after the collapse of the Warsaw Uprising.

St Anne's Church is right on the Castle Square and it is always full of people. It is worth a visit because of its rich decorations. When we visited there were 4 baptisms going on and we ended up sitting in the church and following the ceremonies. Interesting.

Nice baroque church just off the castle square. We caught an organ recital where some dude dressed like Chopin played the organ for about 45 minutes. It was slightly cheesy, but overall a nice way to take a load off for a few.
