Be sure to see the changing of the guard, we saw this at 4pm, not sure which times they do it though.

Well worth the visit and truly makes you think about what it portrays. Lovely touch with the guards in the old uniform. We were fortunate to be there at the changing over of the guards. Lovely to see.

Amazing history of this place with polish soldiers graves from all battle fields around the world. It was destroyed during World War II by nazists. The place is so important for Poles like Arlington Cemetery for Americans.

I went for a run from my hotel and ended up running through the park next to this memorial. It was just about dark and the sigh of the memorial lit internally with two soldiers marching inside the memorial and doing an "about turn" caught my eye. Saying that, shard of light stretching away between the paving slabs was eye... More

It is important to visit this site when the guards are changing. At last they have also installed a series of multi-lingual plaques explaining why the tomb is where it is, what used to be there, who is in it etc.

It was one of the first places i visited in Warsaw and turned out to be one of my favorites. The environment is really nice for a walk even if you visit it with young kids. By the way, i really liked the couple of soldiers standing in front of the Tomb. Pretty big monument by the way.

It's placed on the big Piłsudski square opposite Sofitel Hotel. The Tomb is at the front of the entry to Saski Garden. Celebration starts every day at 12:00 so don't be late as it lasts up to half an hour maximum. The guarding soldiers changing the shift, it's a beautiful parade with different types of forces, horses etc... It's great... More

The Tomb is a very dignified structure, worthy of those to whom it honors. A tribute to all those who fought and died for Poland.

Interesting place to visit in Warsaw. Soldiers guard the tomb. Don't forget to read the signs with history.

There are so many like this monument world wide but to honor a selfless hero in defense of mother land is numero uno to me. A square like open walled mausoleum in the middle of the city district just in front of the Sofitel Warsaw and a street away from the shopping district. There is an eternal flame forever burning...
