Especially when thinking that the PGE National Stadium is very recently built, it is not an beautiful object to look at. You can see the stadium also from far away, so I would not suggest to use time to go closer if you are not a huge sports fan and see something special in this place.

A modern Stadium that puts on a light show at night, dominates the north side of the river, and is visible from many vantage points. While there was nothing going on inside while I was there, certainly worth viewing in passing. They call it the swimming pool because during one soccer match they left the roof open in a thunderstorm... More

My hat is off to the designers, engineers, & technicians who converted a futbol stadium into a meeting place for the world leaders in 2016. Location was excellent--close to most hotels. the "building inside a stadium" was truly a work of art!! Plenty of comfortable space to meet & eat. Safe and comfortable.

A magnificent building, inside n out! It's well positioned, not too far from the City Centre and easily accessible, we were sat near the top so you need to be fit and have a good head for heights!

For the purposes of Euros in Warsaw's new national stadium was built on the site of the stadium dziesięciolecie. The wonderful new stadium receives slightly less than 59,000 spectators, a UEFA has awarded the status of the stadium with five stars. The new stadium built for Euro almost four years, was completed in 2011 and construction was nearly 500 million.

Since its opening on January 2012 The National Stadium in Warsaw has been used for many diverse events with Football, Speedway, Volleyball, Music concerts being the more common ones, but probably the most unusual one was held in September 2014 when a gigantic pool was built inside the Stadium and was flooded with 3,000 cubic metres of water to host... I was at Speedway GP and I must say I am impressed. Huge stadium but well organised. Many places to buy food and many toilets. You don't have to spend the event in the line!
