- SellestBushey, United Kingdom5,224 contributionsDinner with a viewVisited here last week for drinks/dinner with my son. We had wanted to book for sunset but the first booking was for 6pm (when the sun had already gone down), which was a shame, as it would have been nice to have enjoyed views of over the city in daylight as well as dark. I had requested a window table, which we got, but have to say pretty limited view and couldn’t really take any good photographs (due to smudged windows and reflections). The concept is rather like Tings at The London Shard and, have to say, the cocktails and food are of a similar quality. Service was polite and reasonably attentive. Prices were rather high for Warsaw and the food is more like starter size, so you do have to order more than one dish each for a meal – we had 4 (yakatori chicken , paneer and spinach masala, tempura prawns, and octopus with peas and pumpkin puree – my favourite being the prawns) . Overall very nice experienceVisited November 2021Written December 4, 2021
- Margaret1,449 contributionsMusic far too loud, really uncomfortable couchesI was staying at the Marriott hotel and booked a table at the Panorama Sky Bar which is on the 40th floor and has a nice view of the town. I arrived at 9pm and was told by a hostess that I couldn't have a table, just a seat at the bar or I could go upstairs. That wasn't a good start to my evening. I went upstairs and sat on an extremely uncomfortable couch by the wall. The music was far too loud. I don't see the point of having music that loud in a bar where you can't hear yourself think let alone talk to anyone. I had a Royal cocktail with champage, Chambordblack raspberry liqueur, lemon and homemade citrus bitters for 69zl along with prawn tempura for 65 zl. Both were fine and I felt the price was appropriate although for the locals it might be a bit expensive. I was bored and left and went to the bar at the Raffles which was far more to my taste. The hotel was just alright, the bar too but I'm not in a hurry to go back to either of them.Visited September 2020Written December 1, 2020
- TravelswithMrHThe Hague, The Netherlands365 contributionsA must see for the views alonePerched on 40th floor of Marriott Hotel is the Panorama Bar. First impressions were that we may have problems as we were a little underdressed having been walking all day but we quickly mentioned we were just popping in for drinks and were then quickly seated. The window seats are reserved so if you want a full view maybe best reserving ahead. However our seats still had a lovely views. Drinks aren’t served until 4pm so only a late afternoon, evening stop. Mr H had a beer and I a glass of wine and it was amazing to see all of Warsaw laid out in front of you. Drinks were on the more expensive side for Warsaw but it’s a hotel and you have the view so more than worth it in my opinion.Visited February 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten March 3, 2023

Well, the views are spectacular. The service is seamless
and swift. The drinks are fantastic. The ambience of the
place is one of a kind and it is completed by the elegance
and comfort of the place (the chairs and sofas, Baby!). The
convenience that I found pleasing about this place is that
the Service members take Your coats to the secure locker
room right at the doorstep, You don't even have to divert
even one step from Your path to a fabulous evening. It is
especially enjoyable with a special someone (perfect for
dates) or a cople of friends.

I went for a drink in this bar that is located in Marriott Hotel. Location is nice . View is beautiful. Seems that after 8pm is fully resevred. I had 2 cocktails and some 2 appertizer. The carrpaccio was delicious and cocktails were good. Defo is a place you must visit. Prices are ok for location. For 2 appetizer and 2 cocktails bill was 168 Zlt. In Would add probably more food choices

Nice bar with good cocktails. The food menu is ok. The bartenders are awesome and will make you custom cocktails. The Above The Clouds cocktail was my favorite. A bit pricey but well well worth it !

Great bar with fabulous views. My helpful hint: book ahead and ask for a table with a view. Full bar with good selection of cocktails. Friendly staff. Relaxed but buzzy atmosphere. Recommended.

It got a fantastic view. Good selection of cocktails and wine. But service was not at the best, young and unexperienced staff (you do not go back to the bar with only one used glass, take what you can!) and slow response when you make order. Someone would say this is polish standard service, but at a large international hotel I expect more.

Nice bar on the 40th floor of the Marriot hotel. Modern bar, many tables on the window, unfortunately we sat on the third row. Bites are small, but as a snack they are of good quality. Good cocktails.

I rarely write bad reviews of places I have only visited once. Generally I save my reviews for places I enjoyed and would visit again. People need to make a living, so I give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe I visited on an "off" day. I'm making an exception for Panorama because it was so uniformly bad.
Like most everyone there, we went to enjoy the view, knowing we would have to pay a premium for our drinks. Like everyone else there the night we visited, we were disappointed.
On arrival we were ignored by the staff. No smiles, no acknowledgement, no suggestion we find a seat, nothing. We were invisible. It barely improved after we sat down and ordered drinks.
The layout is dreadful. The few window seats all had reserved signs on them, yet no one sat at them the entire time we were there. The actual paying customers were relegated to seats in a "loft" area with no view. The west-facing windows - where ordinarily you might watch the sunset - are mostly obscured by an odd collection of pink bottles stacked to the ceiling.
It's bad enough they've destroyed the space by ruining the only thing they have going, ie the view, they then decorated the space in the most hideous paisley wallpaper imaginable. Every possible inch of wall is covered with the stuff.
We saw 8 people come in, walk around looking for a decent table, be basically ignored by staff (except when one group had the nerve to try sit at a reserved table), then walk out. Revenue walking out the door.

As guests of the Marriott Hotel we took the opportunity to visit the Panorama Sky Bar at the beginning of each of our three nights out in Warsaw. The bar is classy with excellent views of the capital and also has an excellent choice of cocktails. The friendly staff were always more than happy to provide those classic cocktails which weren’t on the menu and they tasted great. I’d definitely recommend a drink or two at this venue if you’re visiting Warsaw.

We went here last night looking forward to a nice sunset. When we arrived we were seated next to the tillpoint and asked if we could get closer to the window - this was refused as the tables had been reserved, we were told by the maitre'd if tables became available we could be moved. We continued to watch as others arrived and were seated in the reserved tables only to take a photo then leave without ordering. We had ordered a bottle of wine which was really nice (at around £30 I would hope so). We stayed to finish our wine and left having not been offered a spot with a view/near the windows. We took it upon ourselves to move for a few photos and sat back down which felt quite uncomfortable. The views were decent and it was a clear night. There is a nice atmophere here with the decor and music but the staff (all servers were female and all males behind the bar) were rushing around a lot which didn't feel as relaxing as we would like - Perhaps that's because we were right next to the entrance and server point. All in all it's worthwhile going to see the view and take a photo but maybe save yourself some money and leave the drinks - the service isn't worth waiting around for.
