Lively hotspot with roof garden

Walk through the building, visit the café, see the exhibition and enjoy the garden. The roof garden is closed in winter.

A cool place to hang out. Enjoy the rooftop garden, the view over the riverfront district (Powisle) and the river itself.

BUW is a must see place in Warsaw - both inside and outside of the library is a specialty of the menu of city's architecture. Grab a coffee or a cold drink on a sunny day and hang out in BUW's gardens :)

No doubt it is one of the most interesting looking libraries at least in Europe. Best time to visit would be late spring or summer, because of the gardens and all the greens on the library. But inside you can find some interesting shops, interior is amazing. Worth to visit!

Loved my time walking around here, but sadly it is closed on a Sunday so what I could see and enjoy was limited. I plan to go back though the next time I am in Warsaw.

I think it's nice, but I wonder why some metalic stuff -maybe suggesting solar panels- is there without any apparent reason, why one or two sculptures/monuments are located there without any explanation of who made them and why are there, and maybe more plants and flowers would make thsi place even better of what it is. Still, compared with other... More

I traveled with three friends who are members of a garden club and they LOVED this. It was very unusual to see an entire Botanical Garden on the roof tops of University Buildings. We observed a rare breed of rooks (similar to ravens) living in the gardens. I enjoys the grapevines with tiny purple grapes. Lots of domes and windows... More

I was really looking forward to seeing the rooftop garden. I have a feeling it was closed due to the weather (I'm not sure) The building and the surrounding garden where still very interesting hopefully I will be able to go again.

Its an excelent place to see the whole city. I've been there a couple of times and I loved it. You can take a book, sit on the greass and just rest.
