We booked this class through get your guide as we wanted to learn how to make traditional Pierogi. It was a private class so just the two of us however they also cater to groups.

Maria was a lovely hostess, she is very informative about Pierogi history and is very helpful. We first learnt how to make the dough, with some good tips on how to get the dough to rise. Whilst we set the dough aside we went on to our fillings. There are endless fillings for Pierogi (Maria told us) but we went with two: chicken and sweet potato and also chicken and red lentils. (She also caters to vegetarians). We also put some dried onions in there too.

Maria showed us how to need the dough and then we put our filling inside. This was the fun part as she showed us many ways in which you can fold your dumplings. (I'm not an expert like her so my folding skills weren't the best, but this is all part of the fun). The dumplings took around 5-10 minutes to cook and we sat down for a lovely lunch of homemade Pierogi and a taste of 5 different polish liqueurs which were lovely. Again Maria had a lot of knowledge on these liqueurs which was great!

Overall I had a lovely time here and would highly recommend this class for anyone looking to learn how to make Poland's most popular dish. Thank you Maria for making our day in Warsaw amazing!

Our train was arriving before our hostel check in but Maria was totally fine with us bringing our luggage, and that set the mood with how incredible she was throughout our whole experience.
We had such a blast! She was informative, casual & really knowledgeable about pierogis! She taught us her grandmothers recipe and let us put our own spin on it (I did a lentil filling with dill flavoured dough; my partner did a beef filling with a paprika flavoured dough). She taught us different techniques on how to fold the dough to give each dumpling its own personality. She taught us how to properly cook, store & recook for when we make them at home. And she also gave us a mini tasting of some local spirits (I forget what they’re called - but they were delicious and paired so nice with our pierogis)!
10/10 would recommend anyone to take this class. Thank you Maria !!!

We went there hungry, made some beautiful and not so beautiful pierogies and left with full stomaches. We also got a nice little tasting of some Polish liqueurs. The owner spoke fluent English and you could see she enjoyes what she does. Current regulations due to the coronavirus were taken into consider while we were there. Higly recommend the activity for tourist and expats.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. Maria made us feel very welcome and engaged well with everyone who attended. After making our Pierogi we cooked, sat down and ate it together, washed down with some home made liquors. Overall, a very enjoyable way to spend a few hours 😋 Highly recommended, give it a try you won’t regret it

Very enjoyable class that taught us the basics of making a good pierogi including different designs and fillings. Just the right amount of time and we got to eat what we made as well. Maria also sent an email with photos she took during the class and instructions on how to make at home

This is a fantastic workshop experience and a great way to try the polish dish 'pierogi' - even if you are vegan like us as vegan and vegetarian fillings can be arranged to substitute for meat.

Maria is an excellent instructor and uses her grandmothers recipe to teach how to make pierogi. The class is lots of fun and very informative. But the best part of course is getting to eat the pierogi in a lovely dinner set up afterwards.

This workshop is worth every penny! Thanks Maria for the wonderful evening!!

What a fun class, I didn’t know much about Polish dumplings, Maria has changed that. Maria had be made the fillings which saved a lot of time and she mixed different flavors in each of the couples filling bowls. She gave us instructions to work the dough ourselves, that is the key. She also showed us how to decorate the edges. The dumplings cook very quickly, she shows us how not to ruin them. Now we eat, there were more dumplings than we could eat, with each filling a different taste. We finished the dinner with a cranberry and cherry liqueur. Nice touch, thank you Maria for a lovely, educational evening.

The wife booked this class for us and we almost canceled it after eating pierogis a few times in town. We were happy that we didn't! These pierogis were better than any that we had tried in Warsaw or in the United States and we had a fun time learning how to make them. The instructor was extremely friendly and had a sense of humor. The liqueur tasting was also good and taught us of some more liqueur that we would enjoy. I highly recommend this class to anyone.
