Having seen this advertised on day one of our trip we decided to finally book it for our last day .. it was super hot and we were worried we would melt but the fans just helped to take the edge off. It was intimate and friendly and to say the pianist was talented is an understatement - she really was fabulous.
It felt like a real privilege.
Fabulous - trip highlight

We had always intended on attending a Chopin concert. We bought the Warsaw pass and it was included in that.
It was a lovely experience and for our two teenage boys was just long enough for them to enjoy it without losing interest.
The pianist was fantastic, and the ambience superb. The interval drink was also delicious. A charming evening had by all.

Absolutely sensational performance by Thomasz Zajac. Intimate setting by the Royal Castle. Just 2 metres from the pianist so could watch his amazing hands. Great selection of Chopin pieces. Friendly welcome by staff and complimentary honey wine in the interval. Ourstanding.

We searched for a Chopin concert before traveling to Warsaw and stumbled across Time for Chopin. We purchased our tickets in advance online and had no problems with the purchase.
Venue: The venue is in a nondescript section of Old Town. The “auditorium” seats no more than 50 with most of the seats in front of the piano. Some seats have minor sight obstructions from interior columns, but even with a sight obstruction every seat is a good seat in this very intimate venue.
Performance: Amazing! The pianist played two sets of amalgamations of Chopin’s best works. The first set consisted of approximately 35 – 38 minutes of some of the most beautiful and at times intense piano ever. We had a brief intermission for complimentary honey mead. The second session was even more intense; at times the piano shook and nearly swayed from the artists’ vigorous playing.
By far, this was the best classical piano performance ever.
Overall cleanliness: above average
Bathroom cleanliness: below average; the bathroom is a single toilet for all guests. Expect a line.
Tip: Arrive no more than 10 minutes early. The venue is tiny and seating is quick.

Thank you for such a thorough opinion. We are proud to be second to none in terms of the artistic level of our concerts. We are a group of Polish pianists, in my opinion the best performers of Chopin's works of my generation. Our concerts take place on the beautiful medieval interiors of the left wing of the Royal Castle, where the gallery of the Association of Polish Artists Photographers is located. The cost is unfortunately a modest bathroom, as is often the case in historic interiors. Visit us again sometime. Kind regards, Katarzyna

Great opportunity to spend an hour listening to high quality music, after a busy day visiting the city and taking some Chopin with you from the city where he started his career. I loved.

It was great to play Chopin during this rainy day. Perhaps a "rain drop" prelude (Des–dur op. 28 nr. 15) was particularly in place. I am glad you like the concert. Cheers, Katarzyna

We booked in advance and had our front row seats reserved... just as well as we couldn't find the venue and arrive with a couple of minutes to spare. Thomas was brilliant and his hands flew across the keyboard. Nice glass of mead in the interval too. We thoroughly enjoyed the concert... good price, lovely venue and exquisite musicianship.

Lovely venue, great price, outstanding performance! One hour performance with 20 minute intermission with Prosecco or mead provided. Beautiful performance by Katarzyna who chatted during the intermission. What a talented young lady!

Thank you very much. Yes, we all love Katarzyna's interpretation of Chopin masterpieces. What is amazing, that playing quite frequently at Time for Chopin, each time she is able to give maximum of her art. Visit us again and all the best, Andrzej

If you’re in Warsaw you must take at least some time to experience their hometown boy. This is a perfect place. The venue is cozy and small, the pianist was a fabulous young lady, and there was a brief intermission with some local honey wine. It’s located right in old town, and one reason we picked it was the earlier start time—6pm vs. 7pm for most—as we still had some jet lag. I’m not a classical music fan, but I enjoyed the music, and marveled at the pianist’s skill. Some of the songs brought back memories of my dad playing the piano in our living room while I was growing up (though not like this!).
Make sure to listen to some Chopin while in town. You won’t be disappointed if you go to Time for Chopin.

Thank you indeed... Playing the concert for you was a privilege. Precisely because you listen to classical music occasionally. Just like three quarters of our guests. But Chopin's music uses a language that everyone understands - the language of feelings. Of course, if it is played by a perfect, sensitive pianist. And so are all our pianists. Thank you and welcome again. Katarzyna

I'm 58 years old and have never been to a piano recital or anything classical before. My wife thought I woud be asleep within 10 minutes. Contrary to these expectations I enjoyed the recital tremendously. The music was delightful and the pianist excellent. I particularly enjoyed his encore with some modern contemporary "poems" on the piano. Give them a try when you visit Warsaw.

Dear Sir, thank you for your review. I am happy that your introduction to the live classical music happened to be Chopin played by Piotr Latoszynski. Now I am sure you will be looking for next events ot that genre. Visit us again to listen to the recital by e.g. Joanna Rozewska or prof. Elzbieta Karas-Krastel. But all our pianists should be recommended. I wish you and your wife many exciting events during your journey to Poland. All the best, Katarzyna
