My husband & I had an absolutely fantastic experience in Warsaw on the Praga district tour with our incredible guide Mikolaj. The tour was well-paced and full of fascinating stories; equal parts moving, humorous and insightful. The stops and anecdotes were deliciously punctuated with food spots that we would have never found on our own. Who would have thought Warsaw would be a foodie destination?!
We can't speak more highly of our guide, Mikolaj who made us feel like we were exploring Warsaw with an old friend from the very first moment. The time totally flew by.
Overall we felt the tour was excellent value for money and attested to the quality we've come to expect of the Urban Adventures brand. We look forward to taking another tour next time we're in Warsaw - can't wait to come back!
Thank you very much, Mikolaj - keep up the good work.

Thank you so much for the fantastic review! It was a huge pleasure to share Warsaw with you and to take you to its wild side. It was a fun day for me as well and I hope that you enjoyed the rest of your stay here. Let me know the next time you're here and it will be my pleasure to share some more of the city's secrets with you. All the best, Mikolaj :)

As with other reviews I went on this tour in the mid-afternoon, with food booked later in the evening and ended up cancelling my evening reservation, I just couldn't have eaten anything else that day!

Our guide Karolina was fantastic and spoke perfect English, and was able to give a lot of local history of the 'less travelled' parts of the city that make up this tour. Having been to Warsaw in the past I was expecting to be a little familiar with some of the places visited, but I didn't see anything that I'd seen before.

The tour really is 4 hours long, so definitely come prepared for a good walk (and wear your sunscreen if the weather is fine!), and due to the nature of some of the older parts of the city it may be difficult for those with mobility problems or very young children to keep up.

(Not a comment on the tour itself, but the easiest way to get to the tour is almost certainly by getting the tram to Bliska 04; instead of this we chose to take taxis and some of our party got taken to the address Bliska 4 about 10 minutes' walk away due to a communication error with their driver!)

I had a great time learning about Warsaw from my guide Mikolaj. He was a perfect guide and I had learn so much from this tour that I was even telling my friends and family about the History I had learn on this trip. I would even do the tour again as it was that great.

My husband and I had a great time learning about craft beers. Our guide Konrad did a fantastic job explains the history of Warsaw to us as we walked to the local pubs.
The pubs Konrad took us to were nice local pubs with a great vibe.
We really enjoyed this tour!

A very personal tour, for me and my travelling companion. We were particularly privileged to have TWO guides - Radek, and Gosia (who was accompanying Radek to "learn the ropes" prior to doing her own tours). Radek is very knowledgeable, and Gosia was absolutely charming. Good guides provide individualised service. Both Radek and Gosia gave me that: I wanted the name of a particular bird, and Gosia took the trouble to research it and provide the name. I wanted the name of a particular church, and Radek followed up with an email after our tour. The 3.5 hour tour took us to three vantage points: Level 30 of the iconic Palace of Culture and Science; the Belfry Tower of St Anne's Church in Zamkowy Square, Old Town; and the top of the Warsaw Museum, in the Town Square. Each provided a different perspective of Warsaw. But in addition to seeing "Warsaw from Above", we had the experience of travelling on the Warsaw subway system, which we would not otherwise have had. Most importantly, although we had independently walked part of the route ourselves, Radek and Gosia were able to point out things, and share information which we had missed, or would not have known. For example, I did not know that the rebuilding of Warsaw after WWll was guided by a Canaletto painting (a reproduction is displayed along the Royal Route); I had not noticed that the pavement beneath the impressive statue of Copernicus in front of the National Academy of Science has representations of all the planets in our solar system, to scale; and I had not gone inside the historic Bristol Hotel (originally built 1901, and one of the very few buildings in Warsaw not destroyed by the Germans in WWll). A typical Polish snack with vodka or a soft drink is a standard part of the experience. An intimate and very worthwhile tour of aspects of Warsaw. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed both my tours with Warsaw Urban Adventures. I took the Warsaw From Above with Anna and Warsaw’s Wild Side with Mikolaj and they were both terrific guides. I got to see all the most important and famous sights in Warsaw on the first tour and then I really got off the beaten track with the second. I learned a lot about Warsaw’s history and I ate so much delicious food that I didn’t to eat anything else until the next day. I definitely recommend taking both tours!

Thank you very much Estella for joining the tours. We are so happy that you decided to see both sides of Warsaw with us - the highlights (From Above) and the backyards (on the Wild Side). It was great to host you and be welcomed again and again!

The tour was extensive and absolutely exceeded our expectations. Our guide Karolina was knowledgeable and some memorable photos were taken for us by their dedicated photographer.

She took us through many local gems which normal tourist parties would have missed. There were plenty of stops for food and drinks, plenty of vodka! I won't spoil your surprises but let's just say with so many delicious local delicacies to taste we happily cancelled the dinner reservations intended after the tour.

All in all it was a fantastic tour and exceedingly rich in content that it is worth every złoty. Highly recommended and thanks again for putting up with our Stag Party!

A very interesting tour through unbeaten paths of Warsaw! Something new and fascinating! We enjoyed every minute of the trip! There were many things that we didn't expect to see. For example the Cold War Neon Museum - a little jewel of the town! The place where simple idea met creativity and knowledge of history. Karolina is a professional and a lovely person to be with! Thanks to her we found out about the existence of special tours along unknown spots, and revealed hidden treasures of Warsaw, and last, but not least, we tried wonderful Polish food. Travelling in different countries we know how important it is to have someone who will help you with finding a good place to eat, because no matter how good the tour was, IMHO, the gastronomic experience is very important to finish the picture of the trip. Which was succeeded thanks to our wonderful, knowledjeable and pretty guide!

Gosia my guide was super friendly and we clicked straight away. She gave me a real insight into life in Poland as well as showing me all around the Praga District. She is extremely open and knowledgeable as well as great fun. We ate some traditional Polish food from a very popular little local restaurant, sampled some delicious fruit infused vodka, looked at street art and the tenements and just generally wandered around and chatted. It was a wonderful afternoon.
