This imposing building famous for its copper roof has really come to life now that the Royal Castle Gardens have been re-established. This view is easy to miss: visitors should walk behind the Royal Castle complex towards the river to see the gardens and for the best view of the palace.

Don't believe you can get inside. Next to the Royal Castle near the old town. I do like the copper topped building from that era, adds colour

There's absolutely nothing to do here other than look at the building.
We tried to ask the guard when are the opening hours but he was not in the mood to cooperate with English speakers.

If you visit the main palace, for a small amount you can add the entry to the copper roof palace. It used to be the princes' palaces and it is beautifully rebuilt.

A late baroque palace known for its tin roof, one of the first in Warsaw, hence its name.
It served as a residence of Józef Poniatowski, the nepher of the last independant king of Poland Stanisław August Poniatowski, and later a marshall of France, who died during the battle of Leipzig.

Today it hosts a collection of oriental rugs, but most of them are from Caucasus area actually.
