After leaving my Warsaw Insight Guidebook in the UK I was pleased when I came across the Tourist Information Office (at the Palace of Culture & Science building entrance from Emilii Plater Street) within 5 minutes of leaving my hotel. I was even more pleased when it was still open at 6:30pm even though it was a Sunday. The lady at the desk was helpful in giving me an excellent guide map with key tourist attractions marked on it, along with an invaluable free 60 page "Discover Warsaw" guide booklet. My visit to the Tourist Information Office has certainly ensured I will get the most out of my few days in Warsaw. Thank You.

As one travels the world, the inevitable travel guidebook is a trusty companion. This guidebook is helpful, but not always current. Traveling to Ukraine, I spent several days visiting Warsaw, Poland. This amazing city has over 1500 different attraction to visit. The guidebook provides basic information on various attraction; however, things change over the years. Hours of operations, locations, admission costs all change. As a tourist, you need the most up to date information available for each attraction. Warsaw is no different. My guidebook was outdated and provided little valid information. While wandering around central Warsaw, stopped at the Warsaw Tourist Information Office located on the ground floor of the Palace of Culture and Science which is located across the street from the Centralna Train Station. This large tourist office staffed by two ladies fluent in English, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian and several other languages is wonderful help to the traveler looking for information. Maps of the city, depicting the locations of attractions are available. Brochures on a wide range of different items (malls. Museums, tours, and restaurants) are also available. These two ladies went out of their way to provide me with a plethora of information about Warsaw and the surrounding areas many attractions. Information was current and up to date and extremely helpful. If you are traveling in Warsaw with an outdated travel book, recommend stopping by the Warsaw Tourist Information Office and pick up the latest available information on the city’s different attractions and facilities. It will make things easier for you.

The tourist information office under the Palace of culture and science was a very important stop for me as this was the best place to get all the information that I needed to tour Warsaw. The staff was polite and knowledgeable and helped me plan my Warsaw tour.

WARSAW TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE is located by the Palace of Culture and Science building and facing the Hard Rock Cafe so is really easy to locate.
The staff here are superb,a great command of the English language and they are very knowledgeable about their wonderful city.
We gained some great information on public transport facilities in here and also got a very handy free tourist map.
These are the type of information centres all cities should strive to match but sometimes fall way short of the standard set by Warsaw.
If your in need of any information on this city just head to here, the staff here will most certainly help you with your enquiries.
Easy to locate on Ul.Plac Defilad.

Perfect Enlgish and helpful & right information on the spot! Lots of practical brochures for visitors. I also had some questions on train reservation and the lady informed me to visit "Passengers service center" at the central station where I get the right ticket with reasonable price! Couldn't be happier!
