This was one of the favorite things we did in Torun. Although the city is primarily focused on the period from the 5th to the late 15th centuries, this 20th Century experience reflects other horrors of the Polish experience. It is an actual bunker that held 100 people, and the experience involves realistic lighting and sound effects.

It is inexpensive and a short 16-20 minute experience. Highly recommended.

Fun and not fun. We loved it, lots of laughs but on the other hand we took opportunity to feel how others had to or having now to copy with war strikes. Short trip of mixed feelings: fun and war stress and anxiety. Recommend!

If you are not local, wait for english group. Otherwise you won't understand what guide is saying in polish language. The whole experience takes around 10 mins.
Price is 4 pln.

The guy who led the experience was amazing, so into his role and so in character and it felt so real. If you're looking for somethinga bit different to do with a bit of history thrown in as well, then this is it!

This is a must do if you have a sense of fun and adventure. It involves going into a dark bunker to have your senses tested by noise, smoke, flashing lights and the tour guide yelling abuse at the top of his lungs in Polish at you.

It's quick and fun, but not for the faint hearted.

We stumbled apon this b accident, and, to be honest, I think we had barged in on a tour, but, I would gladly do it again, the darkness and the the noise, it must come fairly close to how it was, under there, whist trying to save yours and your nearest and dearest lives, well worth a visit.

Cool quick experience with kids. They can learn a bit about WW2 and hideouts for for the soldiers. Staff was nice and friendly so will probably do it again.

If you are interested in the story of Eastern and Central Europe, the bunker is good place to go. The entire duration of the visit takes up to 20-25 min, the conductor is really entertaining. A little bit scaring (not sure if it is a good idea to take kids) for people who have some claustrophobic issues, while the bunker is closed and not possible to leave or go out. Recommend to visit!

Thank you for your visit! It is always possible to leave the shelter. The simulation is short, so we don't encourage to leave during the show :)

It's a really Quick and fun (interactive) visitning of a bunker where you can actually feel a bit of what people felt when they were there during II WW.
A quick one though.
