…you will realise that it is, indeed, a gate. Seriously. Go there. Look at it. Go through. Take a picture. Go back. Go to the next stop on your tour.

This was the main gate to enter the city, next to the river. It is very nicely renovated and it reminds of the former glrory.

Which lead from the riverside to the old town. There is a small sitting area outside which appears to have a mine as its central object. It is the larger of the entrances into the old town from this side.

Fronts the Vistula River, along a broad parkway and promenade. Very well preserved and/or restored. The most interesting things about this gated entrance is that it was actually the inner one, with a moat between the two. Also, there are actually 2 "doors", and the interior one has slotted walls, down which timbers could be fitted, then sand could be dropped from the parapet between the doors to make a virtually inpenetrable walls. Kudos to Renaissance engineering. . . I traveled solo with a Real Poland Group Tour.

Very nice medieval gate linking the historical old city and the river. Most people probably won’t even notice or will take it for granted but it’s pretty impressive and worth more than a quick glance.

This is a big gate and you can see it when you are facing the town from the river. On your left hand side is the Leaning Tower. There is a small park in front where you can sit and watch the river.

The Convent Gate, also called the Holy Spirit Gate, was erected in the 14th century. It was one of four gates leading into Toruń from the Vistula River port and espite slight modifications, the gate has been preserved in its original form of a gothic gate tower with three ogival recesses.

When gping along the old city walls, from the leaning tower, you will meet this gate. from the city to the outside you see the Wisla river and on the other side is the enterance to the old city. you should take a guide for the stories on the in and out stories.
