A fun way to learn about the city legends. Scenes from legends acted out in an interactive way. If you have children, this will be a good way to spend time as a whole family. If not, once a week there is a show for adults only. I don't think it is very different from the one for children apart from some jokes but it is a way to have some fun yourselves.

My kids (and I) had so much fun at this interactive museum. We learned about some Torun legends and played a lot. The guide made sure that all of the kids and adults took part in the play-acting (wearing medieval armor, dressing up, "battling" on the river, getting locked up in a jail cage). 45 minutes of fun!
Although not really geared for non-Polish speakers, the staff was super accommodating for my kids. They spoke in English where possible, and where it wasn't they gave me an English print-out of what they were describing so I could explain the legend and myth to my kids. Highly recommended!!!

Could not believe what a fun thing to do this was. We are an extremely mature couple (70s) and the other two who went in at the same time were a young Polish couple. You just go from room to room dressing up and taking part in the legends of Torun. Absolutely essential to play the parts which we all did - hilarious!!

The idea is cool, the actors try to do their best and it could have been a really pleasant activity...but it turned out to be a real flop.((( 1) The group of people was too big for a small dark room, as a result, not all children could see the performance behind the backs of adults. Moreover it was very unsafe for adults too, because of the darkness and varying height of the ceiling. What's more, many visitors were without any masks and no one from the staff reprimanded them. Provided that the room was really small and crowded, in covid times the whole experience left much to be desired.

I went at the urging of friends and I'm very glad. Being part of Toruńska legend is nowhere to be experienced except here. I recommend everyone to visit.

Visited in April during half term school holidays. I visited with with my 9 year old son as i read it catered for children. When we arrived there was no one else there. The lady said a large group will arrive in 5 mind and we will all then be taken on a tour. I had my misgivings when a group of 30 nineteen year old students arrived and we were asked to tag along. At that point I specifically asked if this was for kids and was assured that indeed it was but I now believe they were only interested in taking my money. The context of the first 10 minutes was so inappropriate with lots of sexual innuendos and at one point a boy straddling a girl who was asked to lie on the floor to make a sign of the cross. My son decided he wanted to leave after a few minutes as he felt uncomfortable. It was a total disaster. Refund was not offered and we were told to come an hour earlier but we never did. It might cater for large school group but not for individual tourists. I would give it a miss unless you are in large group.

We were just walking around the old town when we accidentally found the place. We had no idea what to expect when the lady told us that the "show" of the legends will be interactive and mainly in polish (which we do not speak). However she told us that they could speak couple words in english as well so we decided to give it a try. And I am glad we did - the show was extremely funny and they translated the main parts in english so we could follow it perfectly. I would recommend this to everyone no matter the age - it will be fun for the kids and for the adults as well! It takes about 40 minutes and you will hear great stories about the people of Torun. Great place and good staff!

I was with three more friends and we decided it will be fun to visit this place but when the tour started, we realised it's for children. Yes, we had a lot of fun, but it's even better if you go there with your kids. The staff is very friendly and they really put their heart in what they're doing. Worth the visit.
