The Copernicus monument on the square is already a showcase of this city. Being in Toruń, you have to see him.

Beautiful, big statue of famous Nicolaus Copernicus, Torun's son is in front of City Hall in the Old Town of Torun. Surely you cannot miss it.

You can't visit Torun without saying hello to the hometown boy who made good. . . Do your homework and brush up on why he changed the way we see the world. . . I traveled solo with a Real Poland Tour Group.
