The oldest park in Poznań is Chopin's Park, a former Jesuit garden located at the back of the former Jesuit college. The park was founded in the seventeenth century and served as a botanical garden for monks, and then for the gymnasium of St. Mary Magdalene. In 1815 Antoni Henryk Radziwiłł took over the garden and connected a french garden with elements of the English park. The garden space was the place of many meetings of both entertainment and political character.Very calm and beautiful place, great to have a breathing, relax and forget you are in the middle of a busy city .It's definitely worth a visit, even though it is smaller than some of the other parks in Poznan. Locked overnight.

Was just passing through. This is named after the most famous Polish person, Chopin and you'll find his bust in the centre. The park is surrounded on all four sides by some impressive buildings, cathedrals and a Jesuit college. Quiet, peaceful and serene.
