I was several times in Poznan but it was first time now I have discovered this park. It is not so big but very charming. Dedicated to Polish composer and pianist of the Romantic period, best known for his solo pieces for piano and his piano concerti - Chopin.

On the edge of the Old town and a delight! Take a moment to relax & rest before moving on!! I would love to
Live near here! The sweet peacefulness will lull you, as I saw several
Babies napping in their strollers!

The oldest park in Poznań is Chopin's Park, a former Jesuit garden located at the back of the former Jesuit college. The park was founded in the seventeenth century and served as a botanical garden for monks, and then for the gymnasium of St. Mary Magdalene. In 1815 Antoni Henryk Radziwiłł took over the garden and connected a french garden with elements of the English park. The garden space was the place of many meetings of both entertainment and political character.Very calm and beautiful place, great to have a breathing, relax and forget you are in the middle of a busy city .It's definitely worth a visit, even though it is smaller than some of the other parks in Poznan. Locked overnight.
