Quiet and nice place, Malta Lake is like Leman Lake but not a lot of interesting things. It's a quiet place for a walk, picnic or bicycling

World championship rowing, an indoor and outdoor water park nearby, a dry ski slope on the other side with a tobaggon and mini golf. Fabulous. US cities cannot match this

Just east of the old town is another artificial lake called Malta (circumference > 5km). The surroundings are "developed", which means many entertainment businesses have been established right on the lake shore. A disco with very loud sound in the evening, a huge shopping center...More

It should be a very important attraction, but mainly for the locals. If you visit the lake there is not too much to see, not much to do. Even the little train doesn't help.

We walked here from downtown and was somewhat disappointed that there was hardly anything to see. It's used for competitive rowing events and cannot be used for leisure activities. We took the little train ride which didn't help. The train went through the jungle and...More

This was a good 25 minute walk from hotel but it was a lovely walk and a nice way to explore the city. The park is not that well kept but it is still a lovely open space in the City, with a shopping centre...More

Walked here from the city and it’s not far. On a cooler day I am sure it’s nice to walk around the lake but there doesn’t appear to be many facilities to grab a drink etc. We had to go over to the nearby shopping...More

The lake is located inside Poznan and it is easy to access. We took a stroll around the lake by foot, it took us about 4 hours (no rush). There is a water park and letting arena that you may find interesting. It is a...More

Yes, I can't remember the tram numbers offhand, maybe 6 and 8. I got a day ticket for all the trams. It's only 10 minutes from the centre.
