I didnt know what I expected when I took a tram to this lake. I quickly understand from my choose of start place that whatever happen I shall go around this lake whatever how long it was.

First I was thinking is it a cajak and row stadion.

Then I saw Maltanka miniature railway where I went for photo.

This lake is formed by damming up Cybina River. That was in 1952.

Its 2.2 km long and a circuit to around 5.6 km.

Water is 3.3 meter deep.

On the left side from where I walked there was a recretion house with swimming pool I could not from where i walked go easy into it.

What can You do around the lake.

There are ski slope there I saw they started producing snow for that.

The mound of freedom.

Zoological garden.

Its look that this mini railway follow me at one side of the lake totally.

There are very good condtiton for walk or running and bicycle line I would love to live here and train here every day in my life.

There are a ice rink there.

It is one of the oldest rowe venues in Europe. I have never been in a row arena and I had a brilliant time her. Used 55 minutes around the lake and took 250 photo.

Benches to sit and enjoy life all around lake.

Have been world cup here in rowing.

There are a theater festival here every year in june.

There was a track from top of alpin track where You could rent some special cars to sit in and drive on. There was also a carriageway for small cars where small kids could learn to drive with ttraffic light. A hotel on one side.

And all things I didnt know anything about since I didnt have a map.

Time for some photoes.

This lake is beautiful however will need some work on it when it will be used for the rowing championships this year. We did visit in close season. But done up this lake will be stunning
Everything was closed when we visited so its quiet hard to review but the shopping centre across the road from the lake is stunning.
Worth a visit even if to just have a drink.

Lovely place to visit, we took the little train up to the zoo and walked around the lake to the ski slope. The train was good fun and very enjoyable. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the views and the mini golf was great fun. Highly recommend this place to pass away a good few hours.

Walked to lake Malta from the centre of town - quite a trek but worth it. It seems there are water sports activities most weekends and there was canoe and paddle board racing. There is also a water park and small steam train giving rides. Good for a day out

I took a train ride around Lake Malta and I was impressed with its huge set up, this lake caters for a variety of water sports and has a lovely huge water feature that spays water high up into the air.

World championship rowing, an indoor and outdoor water park nearby, a dry ski slope on the other side with a tobaggon and mini golf. Fabulous. US cities cannot match this

Just east of the old town is another artificial lake called Malta (circumference > 5km). The surroundings are "developed", which means many entertainment businesses have been established right on the lake shore. A disco with very loud sound in the evening, a huge shopping center Galeria Malta which looks like a big shoebox, a traincircuit for children, canoe rental, restaurants, ice cream stalls etc. line the lake. The most quiet part is further towards the east where there is an old fort and the new zoo. If you are looking for wild nature, your search will be in vain. Lake Rusalka towards the northwest is a better alternative, but of course the road around Lake Malta is okay if you need some exercise. Many locals use it for jogging or cycling

It was rainy and the temperature dropped so we decided not to walk the pathways. My friends tell me this is a wonderful place to go in summer. It looked lovely.
